Maybe if you're trying to get people to emotionally get invested in your characters, spend more than 10 mins introducing them to the viewer. I swear this anime is written for people who just like pointless action with characters wearing cloaks for some reason (cause they did it in that "one" anime that became a hit). The action is so meh.. maybe because the tech visuals, the characters, everything, just feels so bland. You've seen this shit in thousand other sci-fi games or movies. Anyway, let's infiltrate this underground city and talk loudly, bringing as much attention as possible to ourselves. I didn't even know they were going to some underground fucking city to meet with some contact (must've blanked that part out of boredom). Can't wait for this anime to be rated 8/10 on this site, you KNOW it will be rated absurdly high cause of visuals alone. |
| MC will probably always get the end of the stick if he doesn't stop being an A. Seriously, he's a grown-up but can't even get serious enough. I'm disliking the MC at this rate. P.S. This series is super weird. First thing they're traveling, the next thing they're in a bar. It removes the suspense they create, and they do it again without any explanation??!! This is annoying. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| @1List2RuleThemAl Luckily, your predictions about the rating didn't come true xD The funniest thing is that in the previous episodes they completely skipped the meeting of MC with his friends after the attack (friends who were at least somewhere in the background for 5 minutes before) and now they give us a pseudo emotional scene with an NPC who we're seeing for the first time (I think) XDD |

| The animation was nice, but I'm annoyed by almost everything else. Wish the anime would explain the tech they're using. Just a little. Come up with some BS science and help me understand what I'm watching because at times it feel like they can materialize shit out of thin air. It's confusing. At least AoT had some kind of explanation for how the ODM worked. Also, yeah I agree with everyone regarding the writing. I'm looking at the episode count and it's 18 episodes so I feel they should have more than enough time to establish these characters and yet it's crazy how little time they've spent doing that so far. I can barely remember anyone's name. Maybe two characters? Even the protagonist feels under cooked. I'm thinking of AoT while watching this and how great they did establishing Eren's core group during the training days. It's only three episodes so maybe I'm being a little harsh, but I'm kind of frustrated watching this because it's a high production show with some glaring issues. |

| That was so weird how they all just started murdering people like it was nothing especially Jack who was a civilian up until a couple of months ago. After that, these wannabe assassins just go to a bar in a hostile country and make a scene. In that same bar, there's an underground base for their allied army where they just chill for no reason. This show makes no sense. What genre is this?! |
