Wind Breaker Season 2 Episode 1 Discussion

Welp, almost forget the whole plot at the final episode of a previous season. Gonna be fast arc since this hoodie gang kinda meh, and yes it is with Takemichi already knocked out since day 1. Hell yeah dat dude also. Thinking Sakura rage gonna be like gotcha some superpower suddenly flying kick those dude, but nope. The true superpower coming from the headphone senpai!

Season is fly by fast when somehow two episode in then there's a conclusion already lmao

Nice to see Wind Breaker back on after only a year hiatus, and the action picks up right away. While Sakura had self-growth and made improvements in S1 he still has much to learn as Kaji showed him. In fact if it wasn't for Kaji and his guys showing up Sakura's team would've been defeated and badly injured as Sakura wasn't aware (or maybe didn't care) of the beat down his team was getting.

Anyways, this episode went by fast and I hope that Kaji beats the crap out of the KEEL leader. Also, Nirei need to learn to fight so hopefully Sakura or someone else trains him.

So Cheesy. LOL. Just as it was in Season 1. But, still cool at times. We are here in a battle, and things are not looking too good for us as we're outnumbered, but still we have allies to rely on. Things look like they're gonna get serious.

The OP is cool. The ED is much better. And, the production on ep. 1 at least looks much more limited than S1. Hoping it becomes better going forward.

I just love how Sakura just wants to punch people nonstop. Kaji's entrance was cool tho, I thought it was Sakura who kicked the guy at first.

Jokes aside, glad to see the show back. I liked the first season enough, mainly thanks to the animation and the somewhat wholesome moments among the gang, although I hope the storyline this season will somehow be improved upon.

@badabass Bro there is no Takemichi. I don't know why people compare this series to Tokyo Revengers when the only vague comparison is the focus on delinquents. Outside of that, the stories are nothing alike.

A great episode back and I love how this season is going to lean on more action from what it looks like. I love the new OP and EN for this season and this looks like it will have a darker tone. I hope it's better than the first season because while I like season 1, it had some boring episodes.

@Camoboi1 Then you might be disappointed. People say season 2 is more boring than season 1. With more filler episodes. It's not my opinion, but it seems to be the general opinion.

It isn't "filler" like this person said, none of WB is. It's fully canon to the manga. But this series is about half and half action and drama/slice of life. s2 is heavy on the slice of life episodes, moreso than the first season. s3 (whenever it comes out) will likely swing back towards more action heavy (after a major backstory)
