| Things escalated way too damn quick with Riko's suffering cause of the poison and all but glad that Nanachi decided to save em and Nanachi is very interesting so far. |

| This episode was a goddamn roller-coaster, at first I thought that things were going smoothly and they could reach the next levels in no time but damn, I did not know how wrong I was at the time. First Riko was poisoned then Reg had to cut her arm and then she ups and dies (she doesn't actually, Reg just thinks that she had died), for the next few seconds I was thinking how people say that this show is messed up but they don't tell you that it's this bad. After that we meet a new character. Hope she can save Riko. |

| This might be hypocritical of me to say since I am enjoying the show, but I can't help make the observation that for a lot of people, a show being dark and graphic is all it takes to be considered good. Thankfully, this show does have other stuff going for it. Looking forward to learning more about the mysteries of the Abyss. |
| Immersive, satisfying depiction of someone suffering tremendously here. Might be a bit late for a hand amputation when you're already "bleeding from every orifice" though. Nanachi's arrival couldn't be more timely. That Reg doesn't feel any of the effects of ascending is ostensibly a very robotic characteristic, but does that preclude it being an immunity a cyborg could have? His constitution is much more robust than Riko's everywhere regardless. |
