People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |

| i mean, just typical Jinshi being beautiful as always. but really how the hell did he swim underwater with those clothes for a long distance? i'd say this was an assassination attempt by Maomao aaand i'm finally caught up to the chapters. i can't believe it only took me a couple of days to catch up after i waited nearly 2 years before reading this again so there would be more content but it still felt like a short time :-( reading unfinished manga is so painful |

| after reading this chapter 48 , i re-read chapter 46 : mirror , and i finally understood the plot : in chapter 46 , the story of gao shun is made-up bull-sh!ts to hide the real secret : the 2 twin daughters of the family are actually the 2 western cousin envoy girls who look alike . the 2 parents are actually the chinese government . the government forbade the envoys from going outside unsupervised . the younger sister was found to be pregnant = an envoy girl was found with a stolen object of the government . - mao mao : are you sure she is really pregnant ? - gao shun : uh , well , lets just say she is . - mao mao : he becomes evasive , because he is lying . the 2 envoy girls are staying in a room for guests , and the room has a toilet inside . - hon nyan : embroidery is quite the unusual hobby though . - because the 2 envoy girls are from a western country . and the 2 envoy girls bring some big mirrors with them from their western country , and the girls place the mirrors in the guest room . the guards might have relied on the colors of their ear-rings to distinguish between the 2 . normally , 1 girl wears 2 red ear-rings , and the other girl wears 2 blue ear-rings . and when they do the trick , 1 girl will wear 1 red ear-ring and 1 blue ear-ring to fool the guards with the mirrors , while the other girl sneaks out and steals something . - mao mao : it is not unusual for the government to treat those , they suspect of being spies , as their guests . |
