Pretty sad but up until now in the manga, Kanshi and Kara only interact once. Maybe Shinohara-sensei already forget this

| I thought the animation looked slightly different for this episode and looking at the comments, it seems I was right. Nonetheless, this was my favorite episode so far. The ending scene with Moi and Nico was nice. |

| The episode's main focus was love, with Nico being increasingly troubled by the fact that more and more girls are finding Morihito attractive and cool as he is. Kanshi helps Nico after confronting her directly about the fact that she and Morihito aren't dating yet. However, since Morihito is currently fully devoted to protecting Nico from any potential harm, he isn't focusing on romance for now. Still, Kanshi assures her that Morihito sees her as someone important who truly matters to him. Nico, even after working with Kanshi, fails quite badly and ends up making Morihito even more popular among the female body. Later, the class goes on a field trip where Morihito is confessed to by the same girl Nico once wished would succeed in love. Not so supportive now, are you, Nico? Anyway, thanks to Morihito's straightforwardness and the confessing girl's personality, there were no hard feelings. Morihito declined to date her since he doesn’t know her, and she didn’t take it to heart. Instead, she thought he was cool for being honest about it. That girl’s got some issues. Later, a sweet moment happens where Nico and Morihito share lunch under the real tree that supposedly makes couples if two people eat together there, and we see the couple who originally spread that rumor. It was funny when there was all this suspense surrounding this Ishii dude when we first saw him on the rooftop. Then later, he asks to meet Nico under the popular tree, but the twist was totally worth it. The funniest part was when they reused the same three boy designs and the thing about the quintuplets. The show keeps throwing in all these references to other anime, and they just keep coming. |

| Kanshi and Nico's plan with the wind made Nico look like a ghost. It was pretty amusing watching how they got the opposite reaction they wanted out of Morihito! But even so, Kanshi's a pretty good wingman for Nico to have. That sudden gust of wind at the end there was most helpful for the Nico and Morihito ship. |

| not gonna lie, the first plan of making Nico attractive by making wind blow through her hair wasn't bad at all, but they overdid it and it backfired even harder, making Morihito even more popular with other people. Didn't expect at all the Who's Next reference. Damn, that confession was a rollercoaster of events. He refused the random girl, but at the same time Nico listened to everything. Sweet. Good episode overall even not pointing out more details already told before. |

| Nico helping other girls get their potential partners...and yet, there's someone else seeking after her? Moi's earning his reputation in school alright, yet Kanshi thinking that the both of them having not dated yet, wants to imitate an ad for Nico to catch Moi's attention. The thing is, Kashi Kanshi probably pushed too much of his Tengu powers, so much so that the confidentiality of the girls' sizes are in question, and at least Moi saved their private information. All that alluding to how he operates, and that's pretty much Moi's style after all. Nico getting asked out by a guy, this Ishii seems like the kind of guy who would fangirl on her, yet when she consults with Kanshi confessing that he holds no feelings for her as a familiar as a way to maintain his responsibility, he's right in a sense to focus on his duties and not care about anything else. Still, Nico wanting to get her bare feelings across to him, and the young man in question having an interest with Keigo Magami on subculture, plus getting confessed to by a girl bringing him to the lovers' tree, which looked NOTHING like a private confession and more of a gathering for romantic potentials, Nico herself has gotten quite the fan club. Of course, Moi being blunt on his feelings, yet not being oblivious to Nico as someone precious who's gone through a lot by supporting her when she was young through her family drama. The plot with Kanshi meeting the old couple out of coincidence being the starting point of the lovers' tree rumour, and both Moi and Nico truly hit the mark on that one. A good lunch under the boring, but real oak tree. |

| Solid episode, as even when Moi was being confessed to with Nico watching he managed to do it gracefully as well as referencing how important Nico was to him. Not to mention them eating lunch together by the smaller tree was actually the basis for the love legend that was spread by the old couple. Moi and Nico are honestly so perfect together. |
| What even happened to the animation this episode, felt like it really took a hit. At least the wholesome moments made up for the different animation, especially with Nico and Moi eating lunch together by the tree at the end. |
| Loved the quintuplets reference! Nico x Moi pairing was really pushed this episode as well with Moi's wholesome rejection of their classmate and then referencing Nico as someone important to him he cares about a lot - basically a loved one. Top this off by the two having lunch together to satisfy the requirements of the happy couple rumor. |
| Loved the cute scenes with Nico hiding from Moi's pocket and seeing Moi say that she is essentially someone he loves through his own words. Then sharing lunch together by the shaded tree, Nico and Moi are destined to be together! |
| Nico and Moi eating lunch together by the shaded tree is so cute! Definitely enjoy it when they focus on the love part of the love comedy, especially with Nico learning how Moi feels about her. |
| This was a pretty adorable episode... in multiple ways. I have even more appreciation for Kanshi. Just how wholesome is this guy??? |

| Wow. At first I thought Kan might be a romantic rival to Morihito. But he's actually helping out Nico?! What a bro. I thought he was going to be annoying and I'm glad I was completely wrong. This is actually very sweet. Sucks that Morihito shows little to no interest in Nico tho. Dude is a strong guy in more ways than one. I wonder how Nico will make Morihito fall in love with her. That hair trick definitely won't work lol. Maybe he's into shorter hair lol. But I wonder what moment he was thinking of that made him have feelings for her which he's now trying to deny. And damn, Nico's childhood was really rough. How could her dad just leave his own daughter like that? Must've been one deadbeat father. I thought the art for this episode looked rough. But this episode was animated by a single person?! What the fuck. As something animated by a whole team of people, this episode would look disappointing. But as someone made by a single person, it's seriously impressive. But it must've also been extremely draining for her. I really hope this is just a one-off and there aren't more cases like this. I don't understand why the studio would do something like this. Don't make a 2-cour anime if you don't have the time and resources to make one! I hope this episode will be improved upon in the Blu-ray. Even tho the art was a bit off this was still a great episode. But I hope the rest of the episodes will actually be made by the studio. They wouldn't pull this shit on Hyakkano that's for sure. |
