An actually really solid OVA series. I felt the pacing was just right to develop Tohru and Mizuho's relationship and it didn't over stay it's welcome. And, it played the standard genre tropes well. Also, I applaud the series for actually utilizing a sex scene. A pretty sweet and cathartic ending, I'd say.

I'll give this a 8/10.

This episode was a lot more charming than the rest of the anime and it feels like both the story writers and the animators finally got their act together, just wish it didn't take till the final episode for them to do so. I'm giving this a 5/10, it would have been a lot lower if it wasn't for this final episode since otherwise this anime was not only bland and generic story wise, but it was also a complete fall flat on their faces mess animation wise. They couldn't draw a consistent face structure, they couldn't correctly convey emotions, and some of the animation errors were just plain embarrassing.

This is really beautiful romance anime!

A very beautiful and aesthetic ending.

First of all, i like the relationships between Mizuho and Tooru. The anime starts with them and ends with them. I like how their emotions and feelings are shown and i like that chemistry between them (i think that this chemistry between characters is something that most modern anime just cant do right).
I also really liked how everything is drawn and directed - its just beautiful. The visuals here are really good and high-quality.

The scene at the end is especially beautiful. The animators were gods that they were able to convey that beautiful and passionate Mizuho in the rain so great. And sex at the end - if it was a modern harem anime main character would have run away in fear at such a moment or something idiotic would have happened. But here - everything ended beautifully. (However, there were stupid harems back then too).

Miko - well, mainchar did everything honestly and said her that he loves Mizuho. A kiss? Well i think it was a farewell kiss. Miko is silly but she understands everything. I feel a little sorry for her, but i think she can handle it because she is very frivolous and cheerful.

Ai? I still dont understand why that moment in hotel was needed. It seems so unnecessary, inappropriate and unrealistic that maybe it was just Ai's dream?

SO in general this is now one of my favorite romantic anime. Recently i made a thread on MAL asking for recommendations for summer retro anime with city pop vibes - and i got all i was looking for in this anime (and in this series too).

9/10, slightly lowered the rating for some disadvantages, but what do numbers mean when it comes to art - and this anime is undoubtedly art.

P.S. I definetely should write a full review on this anime

So in the end it devolved into another love triangle, although Miko relented her love in favor of her friend..... I didn’t like that, I’m not satisfied with this ending.
