I found this Anime the most appropriate to be able to speak briefly about this topic, (whoever watched it knows what I'm talking about) if any moderator finds it inappropriate they can remove it, but I'm going to ask two things here, a question about the Anime Legend of the Galactic Heroes and another about my truth of the universe, I don't have the goal of creating chaos here, I just want to know what other people think about this.

FIRST OF ALL I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU READ IT IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THIS SUBJECT, THIS IS JUST MY ABSOLUTE BELIEF

Honestly Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu has one of my favorite Anime endings. I get goosebumps just remembering it. I won't talk much about it so I don't have to give any spoilers, but what did you think of the ending?

"The universe does not exist"

As strange as this sentence may sound at first reading and it also doesn't seem to be a topic about the Anime in question, I would still like to share in the most concise way possible why I believe this. I truly believe that the universe does not exist because I feel this with my entire being. It was not something that I simply imagined from one day to the next, but rather a gradual, slow process that little by little materialized as truth for me.

Since my childhood I have never felt that things existed. I could always feel the emptiness of the universe. A good example would be as if I touched the water of a lake but never felt my hands wet., but as the years passed, I studied several different subjects and began to understand everything even more clearly. In my entire life, I have never felt that things were real. Yes, I am referring to the universe and its more than ten billion years of existence (according to science), but man cannot prove everything through science and this topic is something impossible to prove true or false since it is not that concrete. What do you think about this?

If you want to talk about this subject in private, comment "Yang" at the beginning of your reply.

an extra for you who have already watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, in my case one is everything, and everything is one, one is nothing, because nothing exists.

in the end of the show a new lineage of royalty to rule began with alec the son of reinhard so to me it seemed like a commentary on how history repeats itself and how all those battles will become history just like our history of modern day was relics to them , if by saying "the universe isn't real " you think everything is meaningless and has no point then I could see your point but if your are doubting the physical manifestation of objects and reality as we see it then I think this isn't thhe right place to discuss this. I would refer you to evangelion I think it has the thing you are looking for it is a very good watch especially if you enjoyed this

@EtherLux one of the best works of all of fiction. I just wish we could see more what happened in the decades to come, but at the same time, is good we didnt, its how life is.

And on OP topic, where does it say that? I just rewatched the ending and didnt see that quote.
