| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It was a short but sweet episode. Seeing the 3 girls interact with each other was super cute. Ji-san also finds Chie cute but gets up to some mischief. The bathroom scene was very nice, pee!!! The animation style has definitely changed a lot, I would say it's worse, there is a lot less detail and more simple character designs. Chie's hair detail and animation certainly had the biggest cut. But I still love it. I can't wait to see more of the girls together. |

I'm sure it'll happen, idk about you guys but those scenes of Oji-san with a suitcase made me question myself if this new episodes are going to be getting some lore not seen in the VN. And also, I think of this as a reboot in some sort of way because even though Chie mentioned that they've done it a multiple times before and Komako's favorite meal is Chie; on episode 4 we could say that Oji-san and Tenka became a couple at the end of the episode, but on the preview for episode 6, she asks why she has to be Oji-san's girlfriend. So all of this mades me think that episode 1-4 were they're own thing and episode 5-6 are a reboot of the first 4 episodes, like an alternate route. Also, I think that this Oji-san isn't happy at all with all of the things that he made with them because unlike the previous episodes, he didn't smile a single time on this one; makes me think that those two scenes of him in a suit will mean something later, but maybe i'm just overthinking all of this.

I don't know why they show him in a suit at a train station during this episode, he was a lol(i)ly store owner in the first 4 episodes. Unless they're just trying to show what his life was like before he moved to the country. I think Tenka and Oji-san becoming a couple in ep4 is accurate, but even considering the preview, I think it's hard to say if they are going the direction you are pointing out. Tenka might still want to keep her established relationship, but she is open to her friends also spending time with Oji-san. I don't think Tenka is ready to move in with Oji-san yet anyway, but when she is older than (I hope) she will. I could be wrong. Thank you for pointing out Oji-san not smiling, I looked back through ep5, and we don't see Oji-sans full face at all now, his eyes are always gone (under the shadow of his hair) the whole time!!! They also took away his grey hair!!! made him look younger!!! They really made him soul-less in this, completely different Oji-san!!! IMPOSTER 🤨. but for some reason they still threw in some 'salary-man lore', It's very strange. |

| @JustARandomUser Well the animation quality certainly took a nosedive for the worse, going from t-rex level quality to studio seven level quality or maybe high quality hentai anime from 2005. ESTABLISHING SCENES: The episode starts with a sort of photoshoot interview style intro of the three girls and what they like to eat. Komako says that her favorite snack is chie which is cute. Tenka and Chie are topless in panties only (the contrast to earlier in which they were bottomless with shirts only), some chibi versions of th 3 girls do a little dance loop. RATING: Overall i give it a 7.5/10, story is a s solid as always but had to take out points for the animation quality that is more like Ichigo Mashirao from 2005 than Mitsuboshi Colors from 2018. |

| I don't know the exact timeframe between the release of the previous four episodes and how spaced out in-between they were, but I watched them all in close proximity after they were already released, which was a while ago now before this latest episode. And now watching this episode has left me feeling like I may want to go back and revisit the previous four for a sense of the chain of continuity since some aspects may have differed here but I don't have all of the minor details committed to memory. As for this episode though, even though Chie was really the star, especially in its second half, I have to say that Tenka Adachi continues to be my favorite of the girls and that hasn't changed since the beginning, nor do I suspect it will. Her clothing choices always just make her a proper bombshell. |
