The ghosts couldn't handle Akane and Ranma fighting.

How could Ranma say that there is no such thing as ghosts if they encountered one before (girl from school shop)? So damn stupid.

This was another crazy fun episode and yeah Ryoga + Ukyo or Koga + Nabiki = win.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

Even though I dislike Ryoga and like Ukyo, I still think they would make a nice couple.

late reply but i would guess ghost girl is not from the manga but an original character in the anime series? :o

my thoughts on this episode are that Akane is not on character, could be development i dunno, i don't buy it. maybe manga readers have this clear..

Finally, an OVA that has all the girls. Akane (obviously), Shampoo, Ukyo and even Kodachi, albeit briefly.
Ukyo x Ryoga is a ship that always should've happened.

Had a lot of fun in this episode. It's basically back to the random silliness from the TV series compared to the serious nature of the last special.

The OP and ED were great as always.

Yet another pathetic attempt to separate Rankane. It's never a good idea to pit all of them together into the cave. Pretty boring OVA just like the TV series. Too loud of an episode is not equal to a fun episode, it's plain annoying.

This episode was so damn funny! I hadn't laughed this much in a while, especially when Ranma and Akane thought that Ukyo and Ryouga were dating. The scenes during the boat ride were hilarious, too!

Those ghosts are right. Ryouga and Ukyo are suited for each other! Haha! I also like how Ukyo got a lot of screen time. I love her!

I'm dissapointed that these OVAs have the same op and ed than the last ones, I was expecting something different.
A place where the couples go to broke up, why they would want to go there in the first place?. What Ranma said about the ghosts and supernatural beings, how he cannot believe in that after how many magical creatures he has seen. So this is where the ship between Ukyo and Ryoga comes from, was funny how Ranma and Akane thought they were a couple and later everyone else hahaha. Many people say they make a great couple but I don't think so.

I messed up by letting these OVAs sit until the spooky season, but this episode was actually kinda fitting for this time of the year thanks to the haunted cave lol, and I liked this episode quite a bit. First of all, best girl Ukyo was a prominent character for the first time in a while, can’t go wrong there, and I actually really liked the odd combo of her and Ryoga, it was weird at first but seeing them fight together made the potential relationship really grow on me, it’s just a shame it’s most likely just for this episode, but hey it’s fun to explore possibilities like this, it was also funny that Ranma and Akane misunderstood the situation and thought Ryoga and Ukyo were going out lol.

And the plot in this one was pretty interesting, like the goal was to make Ranma and Akane get along so they would break up, so this led to characters like Ukyo and Shampoo working together when they typically wouldn’t, and actively push away Ranma which they would also never do, Ryoga couldn’t stick to the assignment of pushing away Akane tho lol. And it’s kinda ironic that despite the ongoing fight between Ranma and Akane throughout episode, the goal was to make them stay together so the cave would break them up, wouldn’t it make more sense to just let them fight? It seems like that was the effect of the cave anyway, everything was set up so couples would fight, besides the very end when the wraiths would physically separate couples if they made it that far. Idk lol, maybe I’m reading too much into a silly Ranma 1/2 episode.

And the OP and ED were another very good pair, all of these OVA songs have been great, a shame they’re all just used once.

Ukyo's hot ass was in this episode. Was amusing to see Ukyo suffer and get her comeuppance, and the aftermath of her going through that experience. I don't think Shampoo ever gets her comeuppance in any situation she's been in. Was hoping the anime would add Ukyo nudity that wasn't present in the manga, but nope, like the manga, no Ukyo nudity whatsoever, so a bit disappointed about that. No Akane, they're not in love. Overall, I think this episode in the anime was much better than it was in the manga. The anime added in all the regular characters, while in the manga, it was just Ranma, Akane, Ukyo and Ryoga.
