WARNING (I will spoil so be careful)
Ideally, I think that a one season course with something like 13 épisodes will be sufficient to adapt everything toward the end of the "el Dorado" arc. maybe that can try to adapt el Dorado + the goddess statue arc with a 24 episodes season, but I don't know why, I really want a movie adaptation for the goddess statue arc ... we will see, I have faith to madhouse

| If you look at the upcoming arcs that season 2 will cover, you will see that it just makes no sense to not make a two cour season cause if they only make a single cour it will end right after the start of the El Dorado arc (probably gonna be there by ep 10 if each episode covers 2-3 chapters like the first season) though I dont think it's gonna cover the Goddess Monument arc because it will put too much stress on the production team which will lower their chances of achieving the same level of top-notch quality that the first season had, and thats without mentioning that it just makes sense financially that they would save that arc for a movie adaptation after the second season. |
| It will most probably cover chapters 61-119 (end of Goddess's Monument Arc) And ofc chapter 119 is not a recent chapter such that you can say these are newer content which weren't available when the season structure was decided in pre-production since it came out during Dec 2023. Most probably 23-25 episodes which is a few episodes less than season 1 since it's still less content than season 1 whose first few chapters ofc were longer as its the norm. |
