The landmark sci-fi / cyberpunk Anime –
Beautiful aesthetics, high-concept story, enthralling narrative, provoking thoughts, esoteric musings, stunning soundtrack, superb animation, ethereal sexuality, everlasting preponderance, and … the quintessential Major Kusanagi.

A bow, my deepest respect and admiration for 30 years of a masterpiece that has influenced (and still does) our modern world.

I love this film and consider it the greatest I’ve ever seen. When I watched it as a teenager alone late one summer night it blew my mind. It was like nothing I’d ever seen before.

Many years later I watched it again and truly appreciated. It spoke to something deep in my soul and impacted how I understand my being.

I cannot recommend the original 1995 movie enough. It’s beautiful, expertly directed, perfectly paced. An easy 10/10 for me.

2nd Gig from what I can recall👍I'm going to rewatch the first 2 seasons and first 3 movies at some point. I won't be watching the 'Arise' OVAs or movie😆

Nvm. I briefly looked it up before and just looked it up again, it's a continuation of the 'Arise' OVAs. I misspoke, I won't be watching it.
