| From just seeing each other on the morning commute to a casual conversation in 3 chapters? Hikoichi and Nayu could never. Don't get me wrong; I love both works. It's interesting how Shunpei mentions that "everything An talked about was stuff [he'd] already read on her school website." An doesn't seem eager to mention how life is like at her new school; I wonder if she's having problems adjusting to this new environment. To her, being able to talk with Shunpei about things she is familiar with must be amazing, which we can see from her smile. Lastly, will we ever get any closure on the vending machine? I pray that this is a Chekhov's gun and that it will lead to some stupidly hilarious arc in the future. |
| beautiful spread; they're both just chatting and smiling like old friends. it really seems like they've overcome their reservations about each other when they finally had something to talk about. i really like how she was considerate of him and moved back to her seat when his friends came in; though, it definetly seemed like he wanted her to stay there (whether it is to show to his friends that she is not looking down at them, or just because he enjoys her presence). |
