Those tarot cards and ability seems like an unique talent in this show. Mudano definitely had some trouble this time. This episode showed that Tsukuyomi is not to be underestimated at all.

A lot of wild emotions flying around this episode like usual too.

And finally Mudano aiming once again, this time against Tsukuyomi, who was another Momotaro humiliated by him. The guy is insane, he crushed two of them without even breaking a sweat lol. And of course, the final moments of that trash Shinya are numbered. even at a disadvantage the worm still doesn’t regret a thing.

Tsukuyomi's ability was interesting but ultimately it was underwhelming

I feel like each episode of this anime only has "not bad" and "not good" conclusions, luckily this episode falls into "not bad".

Honestly, what a hyped episode. We finally got the Mudano and Tsukuyomi showdown, and it was worth the wait honestly.

I feel like the blend between the CGI and 2D animation is becoming better as the anime progresses honestly, because this fight scene looked really cool. Not only that, I feel like that the whole concept behind Tsukuyomi was really creative and just cool to see, and made up for a really interesting fight. This fight scene also showed why Mudano is so OP, such a cool character honestly.

Not really sure why Mudano didn't kill Tsukuyomi honestly. Maybe Mudano is trying to actively changing this fight between Oni and Momotaro, and for that he's starting by not killing unnecessarily. That will maybe help with not building up rage or vengeance from Momotaro's side, while still showing that Oni are strong (and how that's their way to be able to negociate, said some episodes before).
It was interesting to see that Mudano killed Tsubakiri, so that his death would be pinned to Shiki, It really goes to show he's trying to teach these kids to be better.
The anime does have its good aspects in its narrative, and I feel like this episode highlighted them.

That last technique used by Mudano though... Crazy, the fact that Titan screamed while pouring out blood just made it so much scarier and cool.

The 2nd part was about the final showdown between Shinya and Jin. Shinya is so crazy and so ambitious, that Jin was too stunned to speak. Jin said he was similar to Shinya, but let's calm ourselves, he was indeed harsh to Homare, but at least he didn't go burning a whole Hospital down.
I'm curious to see if Shinya will end up dying, or if Jin will let him live, considering what Mudano said this episode about the students learning whether to kill a person or not.
I was finding it weird how Shinya just gave up of running from Jin, but well, it was all a trap. Really curious to see how Jin will recover from that!

Really excited for these last 3 episodes and the fight between Mikado and Shiki! This arc has been quite better than the last one!

Edit: here's the Top move from Mudano this episode

Another decent episode. Really loved the two Momo's fights. Also we saw some normal Momotaros aswell who saved the vice captain.
Looking really forward the Shiki fight.

It's so dumb they left the Momotaros alive.

The whole point of the Momotaro agency is to genocide Oni, why let these guys live? They're just gonna kill other Oni.

@JewelRunner Perhaps because it is better to keep neutral people alive who are combat maniacs than to fight bastards, who just maniac, Mudano apparently has hope that someday this will end or at least reach a state of equilibrium.

@kumorikami hated that battle was done so quickly - I wouldn't mind seeing that fight scene dragged out more.

Heh, Momotarot cards.

A second person view of yourself banging your shin and falling off a ledge is a new hyperspecific fear unlocked. Jin must've really had it for Shinya to recover from that as quickly as he did lol

Suit gets marks on it from a ultrafine mist of blood, but washed away in a literal torrent of blood, still just a few marks on the white suit.

Also, why mellow out of your still very much in wartime and on the battlefield? Mellowing out is usually shown as the effects of peacetime on former warriors, and makes more sense there.

Bullshit reason by Mudano finishing off that blondie momotaro captain, like what was already established, Ichinose gave him mortal wounds that he's gonna die from anyway.

@ShiroAlex There's no such thing as being neutral when the entire conflict is one side is a supremacist group that wants to Genocide the other.
That's like saying there's neutral nazis.

@JewelRunner Take Mudano, for example, who had been destroying them until then, and what happened next. Oni and Momotaro, appear automatically. And what is easier: to endlessly destroy what you cannot exterminate, or to try to change the organization? But honestly, there is very little data available about what their organization is like, or more precisely, its leadership.

@ShiroAlex Literally all information we've had has told us Momotaro with nothing other than to kill all Oni, and have no standards whether they're men, women or children, and frequently sends squads out to kill entire families.

They're basically just Nazis.

@JewelRunner Funnily there were actually "neutral" or even "good" nazis.

Oscar Schindler and John Rabe just to mention two.

Mudano vs. Tsukuyomi, and the latter's flawless fortune that's paired with his Ragnarok ability using tarot cards for countless abilities, it's honestly a cool fight using unconventional powers at that. However, when it comes to strategy, Mudano clearly has the better idea by slowly contaminating Tsukuyomi with his Oni blood, and to add to the latter's own defect, the Reversed cards having a lesser effect than the Upright ones being of misfortune, not every card works out bad for him.

Even with Tsukuyomi's strong cards, it's nothing if he can't counter Mudano's strategy, even by him using his bowling ball lucky item. At the end of the day, Mudano's changed self leaving Tsukuyomi to his own devices, it's not the point of his kill anyway. Up on the surface, Kougasaki making his chase against Shinya worth the run, the former is confident to go all-out on killing him, though the latter is still the brain of the brawn to even trap him.

Simply classy moves from the Momotaro, though it's no problem for the Oni to counter.
