I just watched episode 9 and I m so pissed off this time not at the animation but the fact that they changed so much from the manga — they never showed the internal conflict of child emperor, they didn't show donkan bird's spiritual realm , they didn't show penguin mode and also in the manga Saitama showed up to help child emperor ya that didn't happen in the episode either . This changes so much that I m absolutely pissed off I m fine if they change a few things but this is unacceptable

That's because those things you mentioned happened in the "revised" version of the manga; it's the final version after all the redraws that we got in this fight. I don't know why the anime used an older version of the manga, but at the same time, I don't mind since I didn't like the "revised" version that much either.

I still believe this is the best version of the fight in the manga before all the redraw bullshitery took place. The anime simply made it a lot less epic, obviously, since the animation in this episode is just okay-ish, so it's nothing to go crazy for. The direction wasn't great either, and the pacing seemed to be a bit too fast, too, but I'm glad they got this shit over with in 1 episode since I just want to finish this crap and move on.

Watching OPM weekly feels like a chore to me, and I just want to end this shit.

it will obligatory add, remove, and change some things. stop criing and accept what we get. consider it as a différents version lime for marvel/dc multivers with earth#xyz.

@Rob7 Don't just blame Murata, blame ONE too, since they are both in it. It's not like Murata can change or redraw the hell out of the manga without his approval anyway.

So they are both in it, and the redraw happens because they can't get their shit together, so they screw up, and when they aren't happy with it, then the redraw happens. OPM is one of my favorite manga of all time, but I will never defend the redraw bullshitery since it's a waste of my time, and the redraws in the Ninja arc, which happens later, are even worse. The manga didn't move forward in 2 fucking years due to the redraws in the Ninja Arc, and this shit is just unacceptable to me.

@Yuu_Kanzaki So what the hell are you doing watching anime? If you only like the story, there's already manga, and for pure story, nothing beats it. Anime is for those of us who like animation, that's where the name comes from. If it doesn't have animation, it's no longer anime.
