| SQ just continues to be the strangest character in the anime, or at least her present self. At least we got more storytelling about her character. Long overdue since she's always had a presence since she first appeared. But honestly, I find her character behavior the most human-like among the cast. She's even capable of showing all kind of emotions like crying. |

Minor issue: The part of Yuri not staying in their room during warping is rather odd, one of the adaptation changes that do not go well with the established setting. |

| God, can anime please stop with these insufferable virgin MCs who can't speak to women. It really is too much. Anyway, I was a little disappointed in this one. I've wanted the anime to do things the game couldn't, but what they did here was take this plotline and present it in a much less interesting and thematically appropriate way than the game did. It's possible the anime might do this with another character, but it was most appropriate for SQ. It felt like they just blandified this plotline's presentation. The anime also doesn't seem to know what to do with Yuriko, who is such an oddly passive presence in the debates. |

As for the game version of this event, it's a lot more "fun" in the game because you have to strategize and try to keep both you and SQ alive/unfrozen, but the anime episode hits emotions and character significantly better imo. |

| If Yuri was on guard duty this world line, why was he in the medical pod? In the first episode, Setsu told Yuri they were in the medical pod because they were injured while escaping Liu An. Yuri is a rizzler getting both Comet and SQ to say that they love him. |

| @Weeb_Isekai via the gnosia wiki: "There are 7 volumes for the Blu-ray/DVD release and Volume 1 contains episodes 1-3, suggesting that each volume will have 3 episodes." This isn't direct proof but it's probably where people are getting that number from. It's certainly possible the last two volumes will be 4 episodes each or something. |

Wow! I didn't like SQ as much during the game, I didn't dislike her but I was kind of neutral on her. This episode made me really like her. The anime is really good at making me care more about these characters.

I think the effort the game requires makes its payoff more rewarding. Anime Yuri didn't put any effort into getting to know SQ, a fact he even acknowledged. He simply asked for her backstory and she told him. |

She still goes by SQ as a Gnosia, not her mother's name. So it's possible that the mother's psyche influences her own behavior so she's an asshole to others, but she's still SQ and not simply taken over by her mother. |

| “I finally got to meet the real you” 😭 SQ is my fave character in this series so I absolutely love what they did with her character in this episode. One of my fave things is seeing silly characters expanded upon and learning there’s much more to them than you thought! The fact she lived her entire life thinking she was just a replica of standing for Manan is so sad. Idk if Yuri genuinely fell in love with her or if they really even have an understanding of love at this point, BUT he will definitely never look at SQ the same. I really want the SQ from this world line to get a happy ending 😩 They set up the idea of Yuri meeting a fully merged Manan SQ too so I can’t wait to see that! |

| Well, I had assumed that she was likely either a robot/android or a clone since the comment she made about only being out in the world for one year and being a one year-old. Implying that she came made like that and never had a smaller and younger form. Of course it could have just been a joke or some reference to her being extremely sheltered or maybe abused and kept in captivity by someone and not allowed to go out until her present age and form, but I figured that it was more literal. It's been shown that for all intents and purposes as far as how it's been used thus far, "human" in the context of their predicament on the spaceship and the "game" they play (really a life or death impromptu inquest and mob justice at gunpoint, but it still at times feels overtly gamey enough in-show to lighten the gravity of it somewhat) just means in practice not-Gnosia. So a human can be an android, a communicative and verbal non-human animal like a beluga whale or someone halfway in-between transferring their consciousness to a non-human animal like a cat (Chipie), and so on. As utilized, "human" here can be taken as akin to a title and role like any other role, like engineer, doctor, and so on. Just that unlike the engineers and doctors, it's one which applies to all non-Gnosia. So in that context SQ is definitely human (when non-Gnosia anyway, like in the universe of this episode). But even outside of and apart from that hyper-specific situation of their immediate needs for defining humans and Gnosia with a hard binary, I would still consider SQ as human regardless in a general, all-purpose sense. As a biological human. Just also a clone. Not a radical departure from a "test tube baby". I never considered clones non-human. They have all the corresponding relevant anatomy and physiology except (usually) navels due to no umbilical cord connection and normal aging prior to being made. As an aside, this series has really start to feel like a somewhat milder "Higurashi in space" and perhaps the most similar-feeling series to it I've seen in numerous respects, despite the setting being radically different and a large part of the premise also being different. But that's probably how it shot up to becoming my favorite of the autumn 2025 season. |

| SQ is the kind of girl who loves the chase and you can't turn her of faster than saying "let's bang, ok?" But if you get to know her you can touch her heart. I feel really sad for this version of SQ and I'm afraid we might get to see the nastiest version next week which would be some pretty harsh whiplash for Yuri. Also not going to lie, I hope we get to see fem-Yuri again soon. |
