| I didn't read the synopsis before watching the first episode, so this was not what I was expecting. I expected an Isekai or something, especially after the beginning with her supposedly dying. I am pretty sure the woman at the beginning had brown hair, not blond, so maybe that's part of the plot, like "it was all a dream". I also didn't expect the "attempted murder mystery" aspect. |
| Episode 1 While I knew that the MC is a fat lady, I wasn't expecting the suicide part at the beginning. But Yumeko fell down and hit her head, but somehow she woke up a completely different person. And of course, she's quite outgoing as opposed to her old self that was concerned about her image. Apparently, she accomplished quite a lot, but now she's just somebody who doesn't know her place. The show at least has an interesting gimmick. |
| Episode 2 Yumeko is hard at work with Tamai to try and come up with ramune-flavored potato chips that meet the standards of the Saibara snack food company board. The first attempt didn't go well, but at least she's given a chance to make adjustments to get it right, and she does just that, adding crushed pieces of hard candy to it. So while it remains to be seen what the old Yumeko was, the new one at least is competent enough in this working environment. |

| Ugg, this shit is annoying. Keep setting up mysteries all season and never answer a single one of them, not even coming close. This could have been a 7, but all the throwing out red herrings and false hints while never even coming close to giving us answers knocks off a full point 6/10 |
