| DMM / dAnimeStore / Crunchyroll Early Streaming. 2 Eps back-to-back. Once again, Jahi has to bear the brunt of the Demon King and his doting on his daughter, though in the name of demon invasion, Arhiman allowing Jahi to bring Doux for more training, as it as a demon hunter slave whose family was decimated by demons, to then be taken hostage. Unfortunately, that only incites more fear within the demon hunter to kill demons, then get booted out of his own village. And Doux trying to talk some sense to him in his own cell, with her kindness to even heal his demon curse mark, the whole "supress humans" ploy...ended up being another salvation. Snow in the demon world, accompanied by yet another song from Doux, and some food matter from her father for some magic training. Regardless, Doux's magic training is just far too simple and playful, and at the very least, Jahi finally has a breakthrough in making her go down the path of a demon. The reality though...it's snow and ice for the humans, that Jahi got fact-checked by what she saw. Seriously, all that traing for Doux...just to let her play. All right... |

| Doux wanting to give her father a Whitebeard was pretty funny when you know that he's voiced by the same voice actor who voices Blackbeard. Another cute episode, lowkey getting Fluffy Paradise vibes. |

| Ice magic air conditioning. I'm furiously taking notes right now. So the guy had his wife and kid killed by the demons, was expelled from his village for getting cursed, got captured and enslaved. He was about to become a tragic anime protagonist until Doux showed up. Cute kids are overpowered. I'm liking this so far. |

| HELP THIS IS THE CUTEST SHIT I’VE EVER SEEN. We talk about “diabetes in anime form” a lot, but my god these first two episodes were the purest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s so cool that this and tis time for torture princess season 2 air in the same season because Mao-Mao and Doux would be the bestest of friends. I’m not worried about this getting repetitive because I think there’s potential for a surprising amount of depth here as we saw with the demon hunter segment which was actually pretty dark and heartbreaking. A guy who’d lost everything and only knew violence being reminded of the humanity he’d thrown away by a demon child. I think Doux is a great example of the natural purity we’re born with until negative experiences and the world corrupts us. I already love Jahi and I can tell I’m going to have so much fun seeing her try and keep up with Doux and turn her to the dark side before Doux inevitably makes her see the light and become good. Doux actually has the opportunity to completely change the culture of demon society and human-demon relations all because she’s such a kind and pure person. So this story can be a lot more than a repetitive gimmick sort of story. Doux’s musical numbers are going to live so rent free in my head!! Daughter of the season!! |

| This is basically Jahi being tortured. She doesn't know it yet, but she isn't as bad as she think it is. My proof of this? The little tooth in Deux's smile. Every single character in anime that I've watched before with that little tooth tends to be evil in its own way. Well, Doux is torturing Jahi with cuteness; she will lose her sanity. |
