| Exclusive screening at Anime Festival Asia SG 2025 Next Stage. https://www.instagram.com/p/DRBc5qXjKWe/ The continuation of Takahiro's adaptation of the manga since Winter 2024, Yuuki and the 7th Demon Defense Squad is back in business. It's as if we've never left with the antics of Yukki and the 4 girls, that however with the former's training and Commander Kyouka continuing work to subdue the Mato Mishaps and Shuuki along with the other squads, like the 6th Squad with Commander Tenka and the rest of her troupe, working closely as ever with Yuuki's demon sister Aoba together with them. However, with the Commanders' Assembly at the 10th Squad and the Defense's HQ to communicate about the Gods who captured Naon and Coco, the other Commanders sure come strong against Yuuki, like 2nd Squad's Mira Kamiunten. The ONE and only Supreme Commander is one that even Kyouka is warning Yuki about - 10th Squad's Commander Ren Yamashiro, she's a force to be reckoned with. The battle for Supreme Commander as strong as ever between all of the squad leaders, though the main topic of the Eight Gods of Thunder being their worst enemy, and as much as Ren is targeting the meek 3rd Squad leader Bell Tsukiyono on her failure to keep her domain safe, Kyouka going against her is next to impossible, let alone letting her know about the events of what transpired in Season 1. The Shuuki, however, remains the problem with Shuuki coming for the HQ, though their ways are somewhat suspicious. Ren showing her grace under pressure as the Supreme Commander against humanoids wanting to bomb her place down with her Lord of the Cosmos ability, but that Kyouka and Yuuki took the same time to come, it just shows how much of a difference for comparison. Ren Yamashiro is quite the menace alright, with power to match. |

I went to a showing of EP 1 at Anime Frontier this past weekend. I read the manga so I opted to skip S1, but the switch to Passione this season peaked my interest. I did notice some minimal CG usage and some "sudden" cuts as far as editing and pacing of the animation, but it didn't take me out or make me worry. I'm probably more forgiving than the average fan, especially since I don't know what goes on behind the scenes. Point is the designs, animation and story are about what I expected, and that's just what I wanted. Looking forward to more.

| That's the Yuki I remember. His personality still remains largely the same, although he's definitely more confident and experienced now since the first season. In fact, it looks like he's even getting a leadership-like role. The familiar cast is back along with some fan service. Kyouka being half naked and trying to fufill Yuki's "reward" was priceless with her serious look. Pretty much just the reintro episode, nothing too out of the ordinary really. |

| Yeah the collab between the studios is definitely better than S1. Artstyle kinda bordered on the more modern day H stuff that has floated about. Nothing too jarring so far.. and the fact that Kohta Yamamoto is on the OST (aka Hiroyuki Sawano jr) means that maybe, just maybe...maximum cooking is afoot. I'm here for it. |

They literally gave us Interspecies Reviewers and Nukitashi in all of it's uncensored glory. There would DEFINETELY be an upgrade from season 1, but now I see we have a strong contender for AOTS or even AOTY. ๐ฅต |

The commanders are all here. And ofc The Ren Yamashiro. Love her. HanaKana makes it even better. She is ultra powerful, literal last boss. And ofc Azuma Fubuki. Wish they'd animate the bonus chapters with her but highly doubt it. Hopefully s2 adaptation will be much better than s1 and they wont shy away from fanservice but we'll see. |

| Nice to see this series return for s2. Hope that Yukki is getting a decent salary though from all that work. Nice bit of teamwork between the 6th and 7th squads. Yuuki's training has defo paid off as seen in his display. Man the rewards that Yuuki demands are always so kinky lol. Mira sure had quite the contrast to her character though being both confrontational and kind. Still looks like no one's hiding their ambitions at that meeting. Ren's display against those terrorists show well why she's the corps strongest. Overall a great return to form from the get go and a nice balance of action and character intros. |

I was so looking forward to this season and its first episode looks so fine. We’re getting better animation. AND WE HAVE MORE WAIFUSSSSS. I really like Rem’s design, she’s so pretty, she is crazy strong as well. And that milf, omg. Tenka is helping her future sister, what a kind heart she has. |
| Pretty good start to S2 and we got introduced to a bunch of fine commanders from the other squadrons. In particular, Himari's mother (a MILF) and the supreme commander Ren stood out. Also, it seems that Kyouka will have to watch out for not only Tenka but also Ren when it comes to Yuuki lol. |

| So many new characters just in the first episode. Can't wait to see more of their abilities and more of Yuuki's transformations. They actually cook with the animation with this season, I like the newer models for the Shuuki especially since it was kinda underwhelming with the us of 3d and for the shuuki form for yuuki, but there is also another flaw, I didnt like the new model for tenka but ill let them cook if they even fix the issue, anyways good sht, 1000000000/10 |
| In my last post for Season 1, I said how this series could use a studio change but it might not happen. Of all the series I wished for to have a studio change, it was this one. And it was announced pretty much right after the announcement too. Plus it's not just a change in name only, the character designer and I assume all the other staff are actually different. Bruh. Oh well, I'll take it. I like the new character designs overall. But I think Sushu and Tenka got a downgrade. Mato still looks like a shithole but I guess that's one thing that won't change. I thought Sushu would be like Kongming and pull instead of push but her relationship with Yuuki doesn't seem to be any different. Also, alongside having a worse design, she doesn't seem to be in the ED either. She's still being done dirty. Wait did Yuuki lick Kyoka around her thighs? Wtf. That went by way too fast. At first, I thought Fubuki was Yachiho and Himari's older sister, but she's actually their mother?! Wtf. That caught me off guard. She's hot. All the other commanders look... interesting as well. Lastly, Yamashiro Ren. Hoo boy. Half the reason I'm watching Season 2 is that Kana Hanazawa is voicing her. And she's doing a fantastic job! She's crazy terrifying. The ED was great too. Loved it. Hopefully, Season 2 will be better than Season 1. |

| I was probably the biggest hater of season 1, but credit where it’s due, good first episode. The 2D art was always great, but it looks like Passione cleaned up the 3D CGI quite a bit as well. Granted, there’s not much action in this episode so we’ll see. Yamamoto’s back with what promises to be another incredible OST AND mommy Ren is here so I can’t complain. Good goons. |

| Calm ep Ngl, I didn't expect what looks to be anime canon (ac) for almost 1/2 of the ep, but alr ๐ While the cd Hiroyuki Yoshii wasn't bad for s1, they weren't able to capture the true beauty of the manga's artwork like Keiya Nakano was, which makes this sudden change in staff very good for the future of the anime as long as Keiya stays as the cd. Usage of color looked better, animation is expected to be weak as this isn't a high priority ep, but we'll see as time passes. Love how they made Ren consistently menacing, but still bad asl like the manga. This ep adapted ch 46-48, and the first 4 pages of 49. Few tweaks in the adaptation of the chs to fit the continuity bc of the ac. 8/10 |

I always joke around with my friends about this anime ๐คฃ All I can say is I look very much forward to more interactions between Yuuki and his harem ๐ lots of action 2:00 oh dear Yuuki is busy ๐ Kyouka is voiced by Akari Kitou ๐๐ป she voiced Hime last season in Tales of Wedding Rings Season 2. Love her in these Ecchi roles. Character design changed slightly? Everyone looks slightly more tanned ๐คฃ 4:40 Kyouka reminds me of Esdeath from Akame ga Kill here ๐ฎ๐คฃ 5:35 TENKA! ๐๐ป 9:00 HERE WE GO AGAIN WITH THE REWARDS! ๐คฃ๐๐ป best part of each episode 10:00 YO HE’S EATING HER OUT! ๐ฏ 10:50 I forgot how close Tenka and Yuuki’s sister got ๐คฃ 13:50 oh I forgot. And Hana Kana is perfect as Ren Yamashiro. But the most important bit is that MIRA THE MAGNIFICENT IS HERE. Every bit as fabulous as in the manga. |

| As many above said, artstyle/visuals are better and more consistent but animation had obvious shortcuts. I hope it will improve in later episodes. Except for supreme commander's abilities at the end, there was nothing much in this episode. |
