Hm why are there no female characters in this? Also the mc apart from his voice, everything about him is very feminine, even his name. But still it might be worth watching if you have unlimited free time I guess.

Yo, I went into this thinking it’d just be another “kicked out of the hero’s party to become the strongest with a new party” type of thing. Oh boy, was I wrong. The first half was a bit slow, but the second half was outstanding. Such a unique premise. I can’t wait for the adventurer’s debut.

Ye Gods, I wasn't expecting that.

Really had low expectations for this one, but it's BRILLIANT. Laughed the whole way through it, it's so freaking gay, and the characters are fabulous. My favorite anime of the new season so far. BIG thumbs up!

@felixsifuri I’ve had a lot of hair colours in my time, but I’m looking forward to the new ‘pastel red’ makeover… it seems that the most comically gay coded anime of the season is just a tease, not that I’m bothered either way. So far it’s my kind of laid back and subtle so I’m happy however the relationship goes with the main guys.

For every anime season, I always look for at least one show from my favorite genre that is slice of life show and I think this one might be it for this season. I don’t really mind the isekai aspect, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes.

I've a confession to make. Before this season begin, I was doing a rough quick check on the vibe of the overall anime of this season. And I thought this anime is the same one as Isekai Office Worker. Today I just know that they're completely different anime. But they're equally gay.

This anime is full of sexual innuendo. The question about "history of women" is actually mean "are you gay?", they're checking each other's vibe. And "team up" is actually mean "marriage", and I could go on and on, revealing all kind of implications, but let's stop here so that I won' spoil the fun of interpretation.

I love how Lizel just casually spend coins to buy a hot guy, he's my inspiration. And this is such a nice town, I could feel the townspeople are very open about many things...

@phantomfandom Felt same way about both of these anime. Yaoi is strong this season it seems.

I came into this hoping that the twist would be that Lizel is actually from pre-20th century Earth (because at least that would be potentially kinda interesting) but judging by his "is magic like sorcery?" remark, that doesn't seem to be the case at all.

Ain't no way they really thought "protag from bogstandard isekai world gets isekai'd to an allegedly slightly different bogstandard isekai world" would be a compelling premise. They really do be running out of ideas. :')

Glancing through this thread, there's a hilarious number of people who apparently love unseasoned chicken. "This could be good, but eeeeeerm if it's a BL I'm out. :(" Lmfao, the BL undertones are the literal only thing going for it at this point. It has absolutely nothing else of value. I know BL ain't everyone's cup of tea, but to say this incredibly lame concept would be somehow better without it? Are you stupid?

I'm gonna not drop it for now, but it's on thin ice. Maybe, just maybe, it'll prove to not be a boring waste of time by episode three.

Didn't know what I was getting into, had potential for me to enjoy the plot until the obviously BL influences. Dropped like a hot potato and tbh not happy that it wasn't labeled correctly on MAL. This has more gae tension than office worker ...which i missed seeing the BL tag in time... yet it's not labeled BL. Like, bruh.... Come on.

The premise of the show seems interesting, and it’s pretty chill to watch as well. Lizel just wants to explore the world he was reincarnated—or teleported—to, so it feels like it’s going to be his own little vacation.
