| Yeah, for a girl, Yoi definitely has the princely looks. She gives off cool vibes but also has some girly moments too. Similarly, Kohaku is protrayed with a princely cool look although his personality isn't all that cool. First episode brings out their chemistry and there's probably going to be plenty more. It's a typical shoujo with the destined encounter between the two. I think it could be an entertaining season. |

| I honestly thought I accidentally clicked on Yubisaki to Renren season two for a second because wow, these character designs look really REALLY similar. I even looked around to see if there was any connection, but nope, nothing. They just look almost exactly the same. That said, despite the similar designs, the two series couldn’t be more different. One had a main girl who was deaf, and here the main girl is suffering from another serious disorder... tomboy-ism!!! In comes our main boy, Miyamura, I mean, Itsuomi, I mean, Ichimura, and yeah, this is definitely a shoujo lol. Both princes have their charms for each other here, Ichimura is completely taken by how cute she is, and Prince of Curry is just happy to finally have someone she can open up to. It’s a pretty sweet dynamic honestly, but Ichimura definitely needs some more characterization because right now he’s just your standard shoujo male lead lol. |

| Mangaka Mika Yamamori's Shoujo series is as romantically foundational as it can be, though not a bad premise. The MC Yoi Takiguchi is the envy of both sexes alike, with her manly looks and female vibes that she's dubbed the Prince of her school. Even her friends Nobara Tone and Kotobuki Hibiya agree that she's quite the looker, until she meets the other genuine school prince of the white-haired Kohaku Ichimura, who looks at her...as a boy, though his friends told him otherwise. Outside school though, Kohaku is quite the gangster, though Takiguchi shows her appeal, towards a customer harassing the convenience store cashier, that it just looks kind of hilarious to Kohaku. And the hero character that Takiguchi is always poised to give, becomes the heroine in Kohaku's sight, and it sure stirs the heart pangs within her, as much as the former is starting to see her as a girl. Back in school, Takiguchi just can't avoid Kohaku's sight to the point of her being stalked, and it's giving her quite the dilemma for the school's 2 Princes to ever be in a possible relationship. This is even worse when Takiguchi gets called out by Kohaku in her class during lunch break, giving everyone quite the shock, and Takiguchi having to see Kohaku as some other "curry" prince to avoid his gaze of seeing her prettiness, the latter is quite the dominant one to want to know her better. Unison Square Garden's OST for the series is good, with the groovy OP and ED, alongside popping visuals (for the OP). The school's 2 Princes developing quite the relationship, it'll be interesting to see how they'll interact with progress. |

| This was very by-the-books to say the least. Looks similar to Yubisaki to Renren when I first saw it but found the lead to at least be a little better in Yoi in comparison (didn't like Yubisaki to Renren's cast at all). I don't know if there's anything with this series that makes it stand out as something I would enjoy in the high school shoujo anime lineup, but I'll give it a bit of time. The guy prince was really meh to me but I'm not in the demographic that would care for characters like him. Chemistry is okay at best for the time being. |

I'm so over trying out new shoujo shows, maybe it's just shoujo romance specifically... Surely young girls can handle a shoujo with slightly more substance to it jfc, please adapt something good already... Dropped. |

| There were some enjoyable moments in there like I like it when she protrudes the flower aura when she's just deep into thought. While I do enjoy the the start of these cheesy shoujo romances but I have a bit of a habit of never finishing them. Here's hoping stuff happens before then to keep my attention. |

| Kohaku Ichimura is soooooo handsome I feel like I'm gonna die πππ White scruffy hair, gold earrings, green eyes---the epitome of my perfect visual in a male anime character...not to mention him being super masculine and I've always had this soft spot over straightforward men. He makes my heart flutter every time he appears or speaks!!! I love Yoi also; totally a perfect match. Obviously looking forward to the next episodes π€ |
| Wait that’s such a weird time for these episodes to release at wtf I didn’t know the premiere had dropped??! I’m so excited to have this adapted finally as I’ve been reading it since the start and am a huge fan Yamamori sensei’s other works, Tsubaki chou and Hirunaka no Ryuusei! Off to a good start so far, the show looks incredible and they nailed the feel of both leads, can’t believe all the criticism I’m seeing tho! I feel like I’m in a parallel world because I loved this premiere and the show looks amazing to me, but other manga readers are saying East Fish are doing a bad job? The show looks so pretty, the voice acting’s good, pacing solid, you’re never going to get 1:1 looks for everything. For an anime, I still think it’s quite apparent Yoi has an androgynous look, short hair, athletic, could pass for a beautiful boy or girl. I can see the eyelashes being slightly longer, but it doesn’t ruin the experience to me π€·πΎβοΈ Luckily I’m able to enjoy pretty much everything so I just see the manga and anime has two different experiences with their own pros and cons and that’s ok. That’s what adaptations are about. First episode did a good job of showing Yoi’s internal struggle of wanting to just be a normal girl but constantly being put on a pedestal and called a prince by everyone. That has to be so exhausting mentally, not to mention it’s not like she’s trying to do anything different. She just likes what she likes. Ichimura instantly falling in love with her is so real because I’d have done the same. All the guys that slept on her are crazy. The way Yoi is unable to pick up what Ichimura is laying down about him clearly being interested in her because she has no frame of reference is so cute. Not her thinking this is all a prank π and then the ending scene, HELLOOOOO?? The tie pull, “show me more” I would’ve fainted lmao. I cannot wait to see some of my fave moments adapted but this is off to a great start. Once again, shoujo fans are eating so good this season. |

| I just checked this out randomly and couldn't help but think to myself "Dang....between this and Hana Kimi this season...we got androgynous romances covered" maybe lol? Other than that the art is real pretty and the OP was pretty good....I had my expectations low though because of all the comments I read before watching (about the studio? I forget) I have to laugh at the overuse of roses everywhere though lol... --- Guess I'll see where this goes though. First impression the dude is...sorta bugs me, I can't quite put it [why] into words yet though... |

| The art and animation look pretty good. Two “princes” who are the center of attention at the school are face to face, so that’s shaping up to be interesting. I’m not sure if this show will really be for me personally, but the first episode wasn’t bad. |

| @Sheol01 I want to think that Ichimura is just really bad at expressing himself. As a "prince," he too has probably never had any real relationships. I think he's good enough for our girl, though.
