Frieren Fridays are back!
It has been almost 2 years, but seeing Frieren airing once again is like meeting up with an old friend that you haven't seen in a long time. That's the feeling I felt when watching the first episode and seeing Frieren, Fern and Stark travel along their journey, getting involved in one fun adventure or mishap here and there.
The production values are still crisp and beautiful and Evan Call's soundtrack is pure excellence. The new OP from Mrs Green Apple was pretty good, but Milet's ED song was amazing, both for the song and the visual style that they went with.
Overall, this episode was great. This second season might be only 10 episodes long, but I'm so glad that Frieren is back one way or another. =)

Are there only fools in this group? They have money problems and they throw a rock worth the same as a mansion. The rock's effect is 3 meters. The normal formation of a group is the attacker Stark in the vanguard and Frieren and Fern in the rearguard, meaning Stark could be 3 meters ahead with the rock in that position, it wouldn't affect them, and they could sell it and get the money they need for their trip.

| Really liking the Stark content on this episode, after he was ignored during the final episodes of S1 We have our first "Ecchi" scene of the season The tsundere shows her dere side but you're too used to the mood swings to believe it Very cute Stern/Fark scene Episode did not disappoint, as expected. I watched this episode immediately after finishing my rewatch of Season 1 and it maintains the flow well. The ED is better than the previous ones but same cannot be said for the OP. I'm sure it will seem better after watching more episodes though |

| I have no doubt in my mind that this season will be just as good as the last one, even if it's quite a bit shorter. I couldn't be more happy with this first episode. As much as I love the mage exam arc, the travels of Frieren and crew to all the different villages and cities is the kind of adventure I'm itching for and made me love Frieren from the start, and I'm very glad we're back to that for a while. |

| @R0MER0 was thinking the same, but also frieren said its the strongest material. i feel like not many people would have the money to buy it or want to buy it. itll disable magic so you cant magically turn it into anything and its too strong for human tools so you cant turn it into anything. so all it really seems to be is pretty, and inconvenient around people. |

First episode and right at maintaining the agenda PEAK anime for a reason.. But Fern "ecchi" immediately they know how to overperform expectations 😭🔥 Even Frieren didn't forget about his old hag insult. Poor boy, shouldn't have met the rare Fern offer to pet him let go tho. Ik why you want to be careful but bad bottlejob. Another beautiful comparison of past and present with Eisen & Stark case.. Everything as great as I remember from 1st season. But only 10 episodes, have to savour every moment of it. |

| I like that we started with a more Stark focused story, Fern and Frieren are fun characters but they aren't as emotional as Stark is so its nice to get to see |
| INSANE INSANE INSANE. ANIME OF THE YEAR CONTENDERS. PEAK EPISODE. OPENING OF THE YEAR CONTENDERS. ANIMATIONS/VISUALS MASTERPIECE. After the fall 2023 to winter 2024 season, Frieren is finally back with a BANG. Lulu by Mrs. GREEN APPLE might become my favorite Frieren opening. But for now, Haru by Yorushika remains at the top, just waiting for Lulu to take the number one spot. Milet returns to handle the ED, and Milet never fails to capture the essence of Frieren. The same directing style as Season 1 feels like it’s been thousands of years since I last watched this series. Frieren has undergone significant development since Season 1. And in Season 2, we’re shown the mature side of Frieren to the couple Fern and Stark. love to see Wirbel again, he's one of my favourite characters in season one  |
