| According to the official website of Monthly Shonen Magazine, the anime project of Alive was announced to be canceled. The production of the anime had been suspended since the delisting of Gonzo from Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers in 2009. Gonzo did have some great shows in there and it's a pity they're gone. I'm not really familiar with the manga, but everybody I know who's read it loves it and the premise really had me hoping for something. This was going to be a quality show even if done badly so it's a shame that it's into its death throws... I'm surprised no other studios were interested, but maybe later. |

| Hardly surprising indeed. But still... bawwwwwww. The manga is just so damn fantastic, it's begging for a good adaptation and I doubt it ever will get one now that it's over and never became as popular as it should have. |

The only things known for sure about it is that it's original anime featuring Range Murata's designs (how surprising) and that it's scheduled for release in 2011. |
