I was looking through that list to see if they had FLAG, so I could finally finish this goddamn anime (I only have the first DVD). But nope, they only have the first disc, just like everywhere else. The world is determined not to let me finish this fucking series.

Seirei no Moribito was being sold at Wal-Mart for $30--for the whole 26-episode series.

Why just Wal-Mart I don't know. I think it's still available. It's an excellent show.

Ugh, the only version I can find here is the high-priced version. Freakin' 70+ bucks.

Hmm, Rightstuf has some $1, $5, and $10 mystery item grab-bags.

The question is, are you feeling lucky, (Desert)Punk? Do ya?

I'll assume you're talking about the price, with which I can sympathize.

Because the series is goddamn great. I've yet to encounter someone who didn't enjoy it among all the people I've tricked into watching it with the promise of shounen, shoujo, or robots.

That being said, for a full-length series, even $70 isn't that bad (okay, it's steep, I'm probably just thinking of how expensive box sets were years ago). Ebay?

Meh I dunno, I did enjoy the series immensely. I think there's an R2 version coming out soon for us. They're usually a lot cheaper.

The most I've ever paid for a series was for Eureka 7, lemme get a currency converter... sweet crap it's $124 US!!? I must have been crazy!!

Wait I guesstimated the conversion last time, oh man... the price for the Premium box of Moribito is the same as Eureka 7! And it's half as long.

Bullshit.

Very tempted to get Last Exile. I owned a Hong Kong set that was actually surprisingly well made, barring the disappointing video transfer. It's pretty cheap now, and the show has its moments (and looks damn gorgeous at times).

Much appreciated.

So I felt like picking up the first half of Death Note manga and was poking around ebay when I found an auction for this.

It was best offer so I ended up with all of it for $160 and postage.

A single volume is $20 here, so this was incredibly cheap. Should arrive tomorrow.

Funny, that's the same set that was seemingly a Wal-Mart exclusive for a while. It is cheaper though. If I didn't already own it, I would have jumped on it.

This was really good as well.

It's scary seeing all these low prices on stuff I paid hundreds for. It may mean the anime industry collapse is imminent...

Can't give away Suzuka. What a waste that show was.

Oh my god Yawara! actually got a domestic release. I remember when AnimEigo was running a petition to do some kind of limited release of that... on VHS.

I picked up Eden of the East, but when you look at HOW MANY PARTS FMA:B is split up into...

Yeah I'm waiting for the full set.

Obviously it'll be Region A but if it's also Region B I'll be able to pick it up. Gonna have to dig a little to find out.

Given how good a series is it, and the fact that Production I.G seems to be one of the few companies that promotes BD releases of anime in the US, I will probably buy this and give away/sell my old complete set.

Plus, it's Moribito, which is another excellent show. I think I mentioned that.
