Alright, because of limited space you're all going to get the info about the three factions and the races within them, their bonuses, their weaknesses, general appearance, etc. This is one hell of a read so I reccomend that you have plenty of time to do so...and listen to some music.
The factions:
The Kerishian Alliance. These people have made great use of technology and control the most abundant source of machinery in the world. Their capital, Kerish, is actually a floating landmass generated by machines and magic. This landmass continues to float, is kept on course, and is protected by a solitary AI system. The V.I.O.L.E.T. model Sigma, who has been running non-stop since before the Cataclysm. This faction has the most people and the largest fighting force. The races available to this faction (and only this one) are: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Halflings, and Anthro's
The Legion. The people of the legion are ruled by the Overlord Sinagrom, who liberated them from oppression long ago and has managed to remain uncorrupted by his power. The people of the Legion sport the highest offensive power. Sinagrom cares not for the war and only sends his soldiers to protect what belongs to the Legion. These soldiers have been hardened by a harsh environment and are typically trained for combat, but there are exceptions who train themselves to use magic or technology: Lycan, Alucard, Drow, Machina, and Hybrids
Pandaemonium. A continent that exists in an extra-dimensional plane. These people come and go freely for what Pandaemonia can no longer offer them and plunder in the name of their lord, Tyr'Fleya. These soldiers are the best of of both magical and melee combat, but most of them cannot understand machinery and probably shouldn't even touch it, again there are exceptions: Daemonia, Orc, Goblin, and Revenant,
Now for the races, split between the three factions for your convenience:
Kerishian Alliance:
Humans. Stubborn folk. These people are the ancestors of every other race other than the Machina, but they still created the Machina. Their stubbornness, adaptability, and nigh unbendable wills have allowed them to survive for millenia.
General Appearance: If I have to describe it, I will hurt you.
Elves. An agile race. These people rule the forests and will not abide destruction of said forests. Their powerful ears allow them to hear what most other races cannot.
General Appearance: 5'4" through 6'7", Skinny to lean, no facial hair and have pointy ears
Dwarves: Short and powerful, these half-sized men are burly and hardy. Their skin feels like its made of leather and actually protects them from harm like leather.
General Appearance: 4'2-5'3, stocky to barrel-bodied, muscular, the males have facial hair.
Gnomes: Shorter than halflings and twice the fun! These curious buggers numbers are dwindling because they are either getting into dangerous situations to get a bit of technology or they're tampering with it and it explodes.
General Appearance: 3'-4'3, tiny and sort of stocky build. no facial hair.
Halflings(Hobbits): Taller than halflings and skinnier than dwarves. These little guys and gals are good at sneaking around and stabbing people *stab stab*.
Anthro's: Furries! No seriously, that's what they are.
Avian: Humanoids who grew wings and sharp ears. These people learn to jump great distances at a young age.
The Legion:
Lycan: These people were once human, but were either cursed or are, in actuality, a hybrid human/anthro. These people can transform into an animal that represents their inner self such as a wolf or a bear. Any land-based animal is possible.
General appearance: Human when not transformed, a fierce Anthro when they are.
Alucard: A proud race of people who have become vampiric to compensate for a lack of livestock. They needed protein from something, afterall and they needed it quickly, so they grew fangs and gained the ability to digest the nutrients in blood.
Drow: Elves who were banished and now live underground or in deserts. These people only respect one man (Sinagrom), every other man is lower than dirt. Think of it like this: Our 1950's reversed and made extreme.
Machina: Mechanical constructs that run on magic power. These machines were made to look and act like people. Some of them question why they are here, others question their purpose. Either way, most of them are great philosophers.
General Appearance: Height varies but never exceeds 7', but you can think either Medabots, Chobits, or small Mechs from Mechassault, All of those are possible anyway.
Nerashi: Spirits of the dead who became lost in their travels. These ghosts or phantoms have gained self-awareness and absorbed enough energy around them to manifest themselves in a physical shell so others may see and interact with them.
Pandaemonia:
Daemonia: Demons. What else is there to know
Orc: Big, green, and downright mean...to those who anger them.
Goblin: The green and pointy eared equivalent to the gnome.
Revenant: Undead people who have kept their intelligence and skill to serve a higher purpose (The Crow is a Revenant. Captain Barbossa from Pirates oif the Carribean II is a Revenant)
Special Race:
Azur'Khal: A race of beings who came from another world. They have pointed ears like elves but are not as tall and sport psychic powers.
