hmm... Witch hunter Robin, but I didn't dig it that much to care.
Real Drive's ending was ok but had a forced happy ending.
Toradora's ending was awful.

angel beats. yeah, I think it would have been better for me if it were at least 5 episodes longer. there were too many characters!

it's probably unfair to say evangelion. I haven't seen end of evangelion yet, though.

Chaos;Head: Damnit that animu had potential but they had to apparently slap that shitty shounen fight scene ending in the last episode.

Phantom~Requiem for the Phantom~: Fucking trolled during the god damn credits of the final episode. I've never raged so hard.

Samurai Champloo: I know, I know. I just though for all the character development that all of them living and just walking off in different directions without a second thought was the last thing to work for that animu.

Symbolic my tits. That was shitty fucking writing at its prime. The primary theme stressed throughout that show was redemption and Bee Train completely skull-fucked that, thus making the entire series moot. They wanted to change the ending to promote that new Phantom game and deviate from the VN. Cheap marketing ploy and shock factor all rolled into one.

For how it was suppose to end, refer to the VN. That series alone has destroyed my faith in Bee Train and has let me know that they managed to produce every studio's "Token One Good Show" when they finished .hack//Sign.

Your loss. I don't know who came up with the idea that all series by the same studio follow the same pattern and are produced/written by the same people, in fact only the animation team is the same, and some studios got multiple teams even.

How is that far-fetched bullshit?.. It's exactly what happened. Last 30 seconds is literally Reiji getting shot and Elen choking down that poisonous flower. No explanation.

And if you say the primary theme was redemption, the ending makes even more sense being symbolic because they

You best be trollin'. If I seriously need to explain how that isn't the least bit related to the redemption theme (considering redemption doesn't mean retribution and "paying for your sins") then you're the reason why shitty series like Requiem for a Phantom will continue to plague people for decades to come.

Unless the writers for that show got fired (like they rightfully show have been) then they still write for Bee Train. It's not like those companies cycle through writers or anything.

That's because it is symbolic and it's not meant to be taken literally. Art forms aren't supposed to be explained, but to be taken in as the viewer's sees fit.

Nice personal attack, your argumentation is lacking. It's like I'm really on /a/! Please elaborate on what you consider the "redemption theme" because it contradicts the dictionary definition. Personally, I was quite fond of the show, I'll gladly accept many more like it, though I've yet to watch some of it's predecessors. As a final note, your half-assed criticism is unheard by the producers, but my purchase of an Ein figure is very-well received... mind your place, pirate.

She is holding a poisonous flower, she falls over and lies motionless for a while and zooms back in on the poisonous flower to show a missing petal. Where's the symbolism in there?

You sound like a pretentious art-fag that gets off on arguing with differing opinions using bullshit ambiguous explanations like "symbolism" to make yourself feel smarter.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/redemption

I'm pretty sure that's the definition of Redemption. The entire series is Elen and Reiji fighting for their freedom and telling each other they can do so. Every death is for their redemption and to escape this evil organization that has corrupted them. They even achieve their redemption in the end, but some random, nameless person takes it away from them. No fore-shadowing or anything. They pulled that out of their ass to change up the ending from VN so people who watched the VN would be surprised. In doing so, they killed off any purpose the events had. Every character that had development died in manner that led to purpose. The evil organization still remains evil and in the end, nothing has changed since the very first episode. That's shitty writing right there. For how it should've ended, stop watching the episode 30 seconds earlier. That is how it was done in the VN and that is the ending the doesn't refute the entire purpose of the story.

Believe it or not, Madoka's ending was a bummer to me. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved the series and it's definitely one of my favorites, but the ending could have been better in my opinion.
