| Rules for Meet-Up (adapted from Sarah's (bossfox)): 1. Come prepared to watch anime. Maybe a lot. Bring anime with you and we'll vote on what to watch or take turns showing an episode so we get a good variety! 2. Bring cash JUST IN CASE we decide to order out (because some of us a are lazy-ass otaku). Anime, games, and Gundams are hungry work. 3. Although feel free to bring snacks and drinks. 4. No alcohol if minors (or under 21) are present. No getting wasted if they aren't. Don't put anyone in an awkward position. 5. No illegal drugs. 6. No creepy stalkers allowed. 7. No sexual harassment or violence. 8. If you've never attended a meet-up before we will meet in a crowded, public place first. I think some rules are needed if we're having meet-ups. What does everyone think about this? I'd like some comments. |

| I'm white, but sadly I've never met any of you happy peoples. I originally created this page, and then I put Sarah (bossfox) in charge of meet-ups when she asked if we could have them. I heard from Sarah that there was a split (I think it may be resolved now though, Sarah didn't want to tell me who she was disputing with or what it was about and I respect that), I want a few no-nonsense, somewhat obvious rules to protect the IRL group from harm and legal trouble as well. So, yes, Rule 8 would apply to me when I finally show up. My name is Timothy, BTW. |

| All issues are dealt with. It was a simple misunderstanding after all. :3 Yep, my name is Sarah. XD I've been wondering your name for the past...forever. It's nice to know! By the way, I love no-nonsense. D: Anyways, with the way I was hoping this group would go, I was hoping we'd get people from all age groups. That means high school students and "older people" (what do we call them? Is middle-aged respectful? Who knows) to diversify the club. So I completely agree with the need for rules. If there are minors around, that means their parents are trusting us with them. It needs to be a safe environment. Currently it just feels like a group of friends getting together, watching anime, and doing whatever we want. I love that atmosphere (I don't really have any other friends in the Dallas area so it's a great feeling!). However, if the club continues to grow, I know it can't stay that way. What am I talking about? I guess the Navy still doesn't feel real. I seem to have this expectation that I'll still be around to watch the club grow. XD |
| If the group does grow in numbers maybe we could consider renting club rooms |
