DVD?

I'm just asking but, usually, DVDs of animes usually contain uncensored content right? Be it nudity or gore. Cause my friend claimed that he bought a DVD of this series, but he hasn't watched it yet. Since I'm on an anime spree right now, I borrowed it from him and gave this series a go since I'm a fan of Navel.

I thought it was amiss when censors started showing up in the first half of the episode. But I thought that it may have been due to the bill that got passed some time back regarding anime and manga censorship so I watched on. As I continued watching, I realised that the content provided was no different than what was being shown on TV.

Also, this is just me remembering off the top of my head but DVDs don't really go on sale 1 day after the series finished now do they. IIRC they come out at least 3-4 months after the series has finished airing?

I really need some feedback of this cause I think my friend may have had his money cheated.
