| McCarty Memorial Christian Church is a Gothic Revival church of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) located at 4101 West Adams Boulevard in the historic West Adams district of Los Angeles, California. McCarty was founded in 1932 as a white congregation, and gained attention when it integrated and became a multi-racial congregation in the mid-1950s. |

| Sachael and Hypnos appeared in the church.No one was yet there. "She's not here." Sacha mumbled. |
| "Ohhh! The apartments ruined!" Chiaki complained. "And I spent all day yesterday moving the furniture around!" she added. "Don't worry, the insurance will probably cover it." Fumika said jokingly, but always in a monotonic voice. "I'll go down tomorrow and file a report" Fumika added. |

| "Fumika,Chiaki!" Hypnos greeted."Is Lea whit you?" he asked,worried. "I am." Lea's voice got heard behind him.There she was,landing,whit the last few white feathers falling out of her wings.Emere and Damian were landing too. |

| Chiaki yawned. "I'm still tired." she complained. "And I'm still in my bathrobe!" she said because she was still wearing a bathrobe on top of her sleeping gown. "Your fault for drinking all that beer" Matoma commented with a chuckle. |

| Sachael hugs Lea tight."Are you okay?" she asks,looking in her Queen's eyes;she knew,she felt something wasn't alright. |
| "Yeah Freak she's fine... other than the fact she decimated a large faction of Minions in a flash of light, she's good. Not to mention Emere's and my own body count of Minions we built. And... where were you? It is a rather comfortable church, so I cant blame you..." mockery was dripping from Damian's voice. |

| Hypnos didn't reply.Instead,he hugged Lea."Why were you crying?" he asks her,almost in a whisper. "Put me down,please?" Em says to Damian,whit a sigh. |

| "Hypnos was following orders." Sacha says.She was neutral,and you could sense it in her voice.Plus,the church was giving her an itch. |
| "This place...." Fumika said to herself. "What about it?" Kanaka asked. A momentary vision flashed in Fumika's head, but only for a split second. "It feels as if I were here before." Fumika replied. |

| "You sure you want me to put you down?" said Damian put out by Hypnos's lack of response from his jabs, so he resumed teasing her with his roguish grin "I'm quite comfortable myself... Dragon-weight and all" |

| "I remembered alot of bad things." Lea said,hugging Hypnos tight,wrapping her arms around her. "Purification...you should not do it too often." Hypnos said,smiling weak. "I know." Lea mumbled,another tear rolling down her cheek. Meanwhile,Emere sighed,as she levitates out of Damian's arms and lands near Sacha. |

| "Oof, I think I just got shot-down..." said Damian airily as he turned around and walked away from the 'touching' scene as he walked towards the alter to look at the large ornate crucifix. |

| Hypnos sighed,and let go of Lea."So,how it feels to be here?" he asks,whit true curiosity,wiping off her tear. "Odd,yet I feel home." Lea said,smiling weak,looking at the crucifix. Emere stood silent,and out of the shadows a white winged man walked out. |

| Damian hearing something spun around and saw the Angel, he scared Damian... because Damian can usually smell somone before he can hear them. Something about this Angel seemed... familiar. |

| "Leathiel." the angel greeted cold,walking towards her. "Gabriel." Lea greeted. "What are you doing in Father's house?" the angel asked. "Is good to see you too,brother." Lea said,rolling her eyes. The angel stood silent.Emere did the same.Hypnos luckily had his mask on. |

| "Gabriel,stay way from her." Sachael says cold,wielding her one bladed axe and making the sharp edge be milimeter's away from Gabriel's neck."I will protect her or die trying." she adds,serious. |
| Damian made no movements. He'd always heard good things about Angels, especially about Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel... and here was one of those Angels before him. He didn't know what to say or do. |

| "Calm down,Sachael,angel that once had upon her shoulders the night and the peace." Gabriel said,somehow more friendly,making Sacha put the blade away."I'm not here on official business." he added,looking at Lea,whit affection and joy for a moment;"I'm here to talk to my sister about her unusual power,the purify." he completed. "If you want to know why I can do it,ask Him." Lea said pointing whit one hand the crucifix and whit the other the sky."Cause I honestly have no damn idea." she added. |

| Fumika stood there silently. "What's an angel doing here?" Chiaki asked. "I'm not sure" Matoma replied |

| "Oh,ghosts." Gabriel said,noticing Fumika and Chiaki."And Lea...Leathiel,I want to know why the purification takes temporary effect on you too." Gabriel said . "I still can't help.Ask Him." Lea said shrugging her shoulders. Hypnos and Gabriel exchanged looks for a moment . The angel realized something,but no body signal would betray him. |

| "You sure you've seen this place before Fumika?" Kanaka asked. "No, I've never seen this place before, but it feels as if I did" Fumika said gazing around. "I'm gonna take a quick nap" Chiaki said. "Wake me up if something happens" she asked Matoma as she yawned. She lied down on a nearby bench. |

| "I see.Well,maybe I can help.There are legends and news all around heaven about you,Lea.Specially between us the ones who occupy the Cherubim seats.Michael gets always melancholic and vanishes when we discus about you,but you're very interesting.This power of you is not normal,and Father won't explain why you have it..." the angel said sitting down on a bench,thinking. "Gabi,you repeat yourself.And to be honest,I don't want to know why.Maybe the purification is made to make me purify myself and the other Fallens.I don't know,and I don't care.It helps me save the world,that's what matters." Lea said,sitting on the floor in front of him. "You want to save the world?" Gabriel asked whit somewhat surprise. "Oh please,don't tell me you truly believe what Michael says!I never betrayed our Father.I never fallen because I wanted more power.I did it because I wanted to be let alone to love ...you know." Lea said,sighing. Gabriel wanted to say something,but looking at Hypnos he realized is better to shut it. "Than...than that's why you do the hero even now?Maybe that's why you kept your power to purify." he smiled. "Maybe..." Lea replied,whit another sigh. |

| Sachael wrapped her arms around Lea.There were one million and even more things that she wanted to say,she felt despair and confusion in her idol's voice.Instead,she kept the words for herself,and just holded tighter onto Lea,wanting to say"I'm here." |
| Damian sitting on the stairs leading up to the alter just listening in and not saying anything... one of the few times in history that he ever really shut up. |

| Gabriel smiled,and sighed.He was tired,of all the games,pretending,rigidity and solemnity.He missed the days he spent whit his younger sister,the days when she cried on his shoulder,the days they were there one for eachother.There was so much time that passed since the happy days back than.He wished sometimes to have it all back.In all the years after she was gone,he always tried to not recall his memories of her,bu he just couldn't.He was looking at the ground,but he wasn't really looking at something.His hands were on his knees,as he felt something warm covering them.Looking,he noticed some white,soft hands.Looking at the owner,he saw a Lea.A crying Lea. "I'm here bro,I've always was.You're and was such a blondie to think I didn't missed and not miss the days back than." she mumbled,between tears.It felt so unusual to be sensitive while others were around.That was the old she.And she missed herself.But she had to be strong...didn't she...? Gabriel smiled,and holded tight her hands."I forgot that I'm the only blondie,except Uriel." he smiled.He now saw the one he missed.Afterall,she didn't changed:she was the same he knew.That fierce sometimes stupid girl that always wants to get everyone satisfied was back,atleast for few moments.The heartless girl that never cries,that he saw so many times because of a broken heart....he hated to see her like that,and felt an urge to beat up Michael,as he was the only one truly guilty. |

| Chiaki was snoring lightly and Fumika was sitting by her head. She was dozing off. Everyone needs their sleep sometime. |

| "So let me get this straight!" said Damian "So the only Angel with the power to actually combust Minions in a matter of seconds is not "God's Champion" Michael or you,"God's Messenger" Gabriel but...." he gestured with hopelessness and irriatation "Our lil psychopath Fallen? I don't get it..." |

| "Yes.And she's not a psycho.She's "God's Light" ." Gabriel said,turning his head around to look at Damian as he speaks. "I was,Gabi.I was." Lea sighed."Damian,when an angel kills another angel,the killer looses his power to purify as he is no more pure." she explained further."Odd thing,I think I've actually killed few angels,but I still have it." she sighed,scratching her head. "Actually Lea,you didn't.All the ones who fought you were only left unconscious whit some injuries,but none died." Gabriel said,looking back at her. |

| "No,Lea,you're wrong.you're still His light." Sacahel smiles at Lea,than gazes at the crucifix.She missed Heaven sometimes,but hey! she had to protect the one she loved.So,she'll endure every pain. |
| Damian was starting to understand now... kind of. He knew Lea wasn't really the 'murdering' type, she was more so the emotional violent melancholic sadist... but never a murderer. He didn't have anymore questions, so he was content to listen. |

| Lea sighed,closing her eyes.Gabriel smiled softly."Sachael,take good care of her." he said,winking.Getting up,he patted for a moment Lea's hair."I'll be visiting you soon." he said,turning into a light ball and taking off.Lea remains unmoved,as Emere closes her eyes and starts a pray. |

| Fumika was listening to the conversation with her eyes closed. She opened them once she saw a light and noticed that Gabriel had gone. Everything was quiet except for Emere's low praying and Chiaki's quiet snoring. |

| Except of those sounds,water drops falling sound,hitting the windows,soon got heard.Thunders."It rains..." Lea said,almost in a whisper. |

| Fumika just sat there with her eyes closed listening to the rain. Chiaki was sound asleep, even in the thunderstorm which wasn't very common in California. "And it rains upon us all" she said quietly. |

| "S***" said Damian, hearing the rain. On the list of things he hated (which was a long list) the 2 nearest to the top would be rain... and feeling trapped. |

| Fumika stood up and headed towards the great door to the front. "Huh?" Chiaki said groggily. "Fumika, where are you going?" she asked. "Out for a stroll" Fumika said as she opened the door. Rain was pouring down and the cold air burst its way into the Church. "Its raining!" Kanaka said. "I know" Fumika said as she disappeared from sight and the doors left wide open. She went off to the park. |

| Lea walked towards the crucifix,laying down at it's base. "Amen." Emere finished her pray and walked towards the doors to close them. Hypnos walked towards Lea,who started to fall asleep,and covered her whit his cloak. |

| "Hope it isn't Sunday..." said Damian feeling a bit put out by the rain |

| "It is." Lea said,yawning. Emere closes the doors,making noise. Hypnos was sitting beside Lea,as she was using his lap as a pillow. |

| "What's wrong with Sunday?" Chiaki asked as she yawned. "I actually like Sunday's, it's my only day off" she added. "You're day off is when you say it is" Matoma chuckled. "Hey!" Chiaki said. |

| "Huh... kinda hard to hide in a CHURCH on a SUNDAY, don't you think? Considering any minute now a priest and all church goers are gonna walk in and see 2 Fallen Angels, 1 freak from Aether, 1 Dragon girl, 1 Demon, and a pile of Ghosts..." said Damian sounding petulant. |

| "Nrggh, don't worry about it. It's only..." Chiaki said checking Matoma as she yawned. He has a built in clock. "2:30 A.M. We'll leave before sunrise." she added. |

| "Well that explains a lot" Chiaki said lying back down on the bench. She wiped the tears from her eyes as she yawned. |

| "Bored, bored, bored..." said Damian with the falre of battle now officially put out of his heart from earlier and the lackluster events due to the weather... he was very bored and irritable indeed. |

| "I can grant you that wish..." Lea says humorlessly,her face cold and her gaze blank,showing something she never shown before:true pain.A pain that made Emere drop a tear as she meets the gaze... |

| "You would, wouldn't you Psycho?" said Damian darkly humored and feeling grouchy. Partly from the rain and partly from the Angel visit, because Gabriel tend to only make housecalls only when he had something important to say. Of which the only thing he caught that was of any use was that the Psycho was the only one with who could decimate the Minions within seconds but at a cost of most of her energy. So she was only a one-shot with her powers... useless, unless they could get a clear shot at the Source. But fat chance of these cowards going back to the Realms for a Hunt! The thing that annoyed him most of all though... was that Emere preferred to be at the Psycho's side more than his. He wanted to sleep with Emere! ... Wait that thought didn't come out right, he meant to sleep at his side. He meant... ah, H*** she was reading his thoughts again. Wasn't she? |
