| The Aurora has finally within the range of the 'planet' (really it's a space station) Kavarda. The crew have prepared for landing and are now awaiting eagerly to be off the ship. Kavarda looks something like this on the outside, mind you, it's square shaped and not circular. |

| Cody walks out of the ship onto the dock. A small redheaded young man comes towards him. "How was your trip sir?" Brink doesn't give the boy a look at all. "It was perfectly fine Abbot. I trust you have been keeping up the office?" he pats his head and shoves his belongings in his hands. "Y-Yes sir." Abbot responds. |

| Zaine stares at almost everything, like a kid in a candy shop. He goes from thing to thing excitedly and never stays on one item of interest for more than a few seconds. Alexi and Cyn follow after him talkng to themselves. "Look at that." Cyn points. "Brink has a little assistance. How cute." "You think I should put Zaine on a leash or something?" Alexi asks. "I don't want him running off..." "He's a big boy now Alexi." He smirks. "Besides, he knows all his tricks. If you call him, he'll come running." "Did you just compare him to a dog?" |
| Jackson walks over to Alexi and Cyn. "E-Excuse me Ms." he gives a half smile, half worried look. "Officer Brink would like you to accompany him at an "office party" tomorrow night so you may discuss the results of your test. Your assistant is also welcome but it is not recommended. Officer Brink said "Too much educational talk will blow up his brain like a volcanic abscess." I am sorry to hear about that condition." He bows apologetically. "So shall it be assumed you will go Ms.?" he stares at her longingly waiting for an answer. He seems to still be holding Cody's very heavy bags though they are small. |
| Cyn stares at Brink with renewed fury. Alexi gives Jackson a stern look. "First of all, I'm a Miss not a Ms. Ms. would mean I have been previously married. Second, Cyn is my first-mate, not my assistant. When something pertains to the ship and crew, he must be present. And of course I will be present at the meeting." Her expression softens and she smiles a little as she says "Cyn doesn't have the condition that Brink says he does, he's just not very fond of Cyn." |
| Abbott nods frantically as he sweats massively. "Y-Yes I will notify him of your arrival. M-Miss." He gives another half smile and walks away with Brinks heavy bags. |
| "Such a cute kid..." Alexi says. She turns to Cyn. "If you keep fuming like that, you might light yourself on fire." Cyn blinks and looks at her. "He'll pay for that." Then in a lower tone, "It's still where you left it, and it hasn't been touched since." "Good. Meet me at the center by the fountain." She looks at Zaine, who is quite a ways away poking at a projection screen. "And watch him. Make sure he doesn't get into any trouble." "What why do I--" But Alexi ran off into the crowd before he could finish. "Great. I get to babysit the bozo while she frolics around Kavarda doing who-knows-what!" |
| (I also edited Cody's picture.) Brink smirks at him as he is brought to the 2nd floor with Abbot, Government offices. In no time at all another ship comes into the dock violently. It is a foreign design and has a metallic blue body. It scraps roughly against the dock as sparks fly and the Aurora gets pushed forward. People take cover for fear the base will be demolished yet again. However it doesn't and after a few moments it is silent. |
| Cyn looks back at and watches in horror as the Aurora skids forward. "Hey!' He lurches forward as the other ship's impact causes the docking bay to shake. Cyn grits his teeth and manages to right himself. "Bastards." He says under his breath. He starts running towards the ships. "Whoever is piloting that blue trash can better hope they didn't scratch my baby or I swear...!" Zaine had, by the time of the crash, already retreated inside a resort building. He was standing in front of a vending machine on the second floor lobby of the hotel attempting to figure out how to get the delicious looking snacks, completely ignoring the concerned citizens running past him. |
| (Fuck the universe I am hungry! :p Wow I love it!) All of a sudden the ship completely falls apart and there is a girly scream heard. The platform door falls off completely and lands on the side of the dock. a small pocket of room is still visible beneath the dust. Troops come forth to examine this. Two of which attempt to hold back Cyn. |
| Cyn struggles. "Get offa me! That's my ship that b*****d just hit!" Zaine shrugs. (I have no idea how to work this thing!) He leans against the wall next to it. "What am I even doing here?" He says quietly to himself. "I don't understand how to use half the stuff here, let alone what it is in the first place." He pushes himself off the wall. "No." (I'll do what I've always done and get by.) He turns towards the machine, looks around to see if anyone is watching or down the hall (no one is), and takes out his sword. One smashed machine later, Zaine walks away triumphantly with an armful of food. |
| (HAHAHAHAHAH!!!! WTF!?) Troops come out of the ship carring an unconcious person that seems to be a man. The troops let Cyn go at the same time. |
| Cyn stumbles as he's let go. He rights himself, still fuming, and steps back. He looks at his ship, then at the men around him. (My poor baby! Look at those marks! Just who are these guys!? Thinking they can just smash...) Zaine walks out of the hotel, munching on the remains of the snack food machine's cargo. He looks around. There is a square down the street to his right where many people are gathered going about their business, to the left lies the docking bay where the Aurora lies, and in front of him is another road. Zaine takes a few steps forward, then stops by a lamppost. (Now which way...?) |
| A woman walks towards Zaine. She's wearing black tight-fit pants, a plain black tank-top, and knee-high red leather boots that match the color of her hair. "You look lost hun." She says. Zaine looks at her but says nothing. "What's the matter hun? Can't talk to strangers? And I thought I had finally found a real man." "You go around insulting all the guys you just met, or am I just special?" She giggles. "I haven't seen anyone dressed like you before. You're not from around here are you." Again, Zaine says nothing. "You're rather quiet too. Want me to show you something?" Zaine looks around, trying to see if he can spot Alexi, or Cyn, or anyone vaguely familiar. "I don't think--" "C'mon hun." She grabs his hand and leans in close, causing his face to turn slightly red. "Please?" When he does not answer she tugs him down the street to the right. |

| (She's not a whore, but I can see why you think that. hehe ^^; ) Cyn eyes leave his ship long enough to scan the crowd. His gaze lingers briefly over the man (That guy looks pretty messed up...), before spotting Brink. He walks over to him, now focused on his new "mission" he has given himself. "Hey," he says to Brink. "Do you know what's going on here by any chance?" |
| The red head leads Zaine through the crowd, but not all the way down the street as she turns right down an alleyway. "Um..." Zaine says uncertainly. "Where are we---" She yanks him forward out of the alley now, left down another street, and finally down another alleyway. "This is a dead end..." Zaine says as he looks around. Silence. She turns him around so that he faces the street, back against the wall, while she stands defiantly in his path. "Well thanks for coming with me now sugar." She says sweetly. Zaine inches his hand towards the hilt of his sword. "But I'm afraid this is the end of the line for you." As she speaks, two armed men enter the alley, their guns pointed at him. "I wouldn't try anything funny if I were you hun. My friends here are awfully trigger happy. (crap.) Zaine thinks to himself. (But what else can I do?) "What do you want?" He asks, voice even. "Well hun, I saw some of the little bags you got on you. Figured there'd be something nice in them. Plus, I saw you in the hotel, smashing that vending machine. I figure that you don't even know about this 'planet' at all." She smiles. The men are now right behind her. "What better person to rob? You definitely brought something with you that's precious." She holds out her hand, all the previous gentleness and kindness drained out of her eyes and voice as she said, "Give it here." |

| The red head turns to him. "That comes after we finish here." Zaine looks up. (That wall ain't too high....) The other man turns to her now. "Yeah, but...I'm kind of hungry..." Zaine looks to each side. (And the walls are real close together...) She smacks the man. "Idiot. Why do I even bother working with the likes of you?" Zaine slides his feet into position. (If I do this fast enough...) "Because..." the man says, "We're your brothers?" "God!" She says in frustration. She grabs both of them and knocks their heads together. "Now stop messing around. We've got--" Zaine makes his move. Jumping from wall to wall, he is attempting to get high enough to go over the wall. "Hey!" She says. "Get him!" The men open fire as Zaine reaches the top. He grabs the edge of the wall just as he gets hit in the back of his right thigh. As he pulls himself up, he takes another to his right shoulder before clearing the wall. (S**t!) He lands with a thud into the trash on the other side. (Well...this is just going great for me...) He looks out around him. (I need to find Cyn or Alexi or someone who can help me...) With a grunt, he rolls to his feet and runs with a limp down the street. |
| One of the brothers looks at the the other again. "So...do we still get the food?" |
| "Idiots!" The red head screams. "Lyle, give me a boost." The man walks over to the wall, braces himself, and laces his fingers together. "After I get over the wall, you two meet me at the intersection." She takes three steps backwards. "But how will we find him again?" Lyle asks. She shakes her head. "Those aren't regular bullets I put into your weapons." She smiles. "He won't get far." The red head runs at him, stepping on his palms while he pushes her upwards. While straddling the wall she looks back down at them. "Remember what I told you. Meet at the intersection." They and run out the alley as she lands on the other side of the wall. |
| Cyn looks to Brink for answer to his question, but knows he won't get so much as a glance. He sighs and looks back to his ship. (HA! Not a scratch on her!) A wave of relief washes over him. (I knew it was a good idea to make her out of that alloy! Alexi said not to and that it was expensive but I made her. Ha!) His face turns white. "S**t." he says under his breath. (She's gonna kill me.) Cyn runs out of the crowd and looks around. (Last I knew...the kid was by the Firefly Hotel...) He runs towards the intersection. (A bit of a side note for you, as of right now, Cyn is by the first block of Kavarda, close to the docking station. Zaine and the red head are a block over. I thought I'd put this in just to make sure you'd understand of everyone's positions. And in case you're wondering, Alexi is in the center of Kavarda, in the capital building.) |
| Brink watches Cyn go frantic. (Wait, did he lose...) He also goes white. (Sh*t I can't have him go wild through the base! Stealing stuff and being...curious!) He quickly runs up on the dock. "Citizens of the Kavardian base. May I have your attention? The accident is being dealt with. However, we also have a..."new comer" who is missing. Please be aware! All officers check all floors of the base. As for everyone else stay calm and please be alert of a blue-ish haired man who seems...confused. Thank you!" He steps off the dock and goes immediately to the sketch artist. |
| Kyle follows Lyle to search. "So uhm,....want to get some food before we search?" |
| Zaine turns right at the intersection and then right again. (Great job, Zaine. First time in a new world and you already screwed up. Something tells me this is not going to be easy...) He stops momentarily to take in his surroundings. (This way!) He runs down the street, about halfway, and takes a left into a side alley. Halfway down the alley, he falters and trips, catching himself on the wall. (My vision...What was in those guns...?) |
| Cyn reaches the Firefly just in time to see the redhead reach the intersection one block over. (That can't be good...) He trails her as she runs off down the street and takes a right. --- Lyla looks at his brother. "I am kinda hungry..." He thinks for a moment. "Let's go get some food first." --- The red head stops at the intersection for a moment. She looks down at her watch, which shows a map with a blinking green dot on it. (He won't get far!) She takes off down the street to the right. |
| (LMAO!!!!) Kyle looks back. "Galacta-Hut?" he smiles at the thought of pizza and hologram strippers. ----- Meanwhile at the hospital wing of the base The boy who crashed into the Aurora is in intensive care and has not woken up. |
| Lyle looks at him and smiles in agreement. "Galacta-Hut." --- Zaine continues throught the alley and takes a left, onto the main road once more. (S**t. This is getting difficult...) He takes a right, then continues striaght towards the main building. He goes by two streets before crossing over to the other side of the intersection and taking a left down another street. --- The red head follows Zaine continuously, using her watch to track his movements. (He's slowing down...) |
| Cyn keeps up with the woman easily. (Where is she--) His thoughts come to a halt as he catches a glimsp of Zaine running across the intersection. (Is she chasing him? That little wench!) |
| Galacta-Hut Kyle mows on pizza and nods. "F**k yes!" --- After Brink gets the word out he heads over to his assistant. "Abbot, status report! Has there been any reports?" Abbot shakes his head. "No sir, but it seems that Mr. Firestone is still out searching. Do you think he found him? He has been gone a while." Brink ponders this. (If I was Zaine....Jesus I wouldn't even know!) |
| Zaine runs down the street, realizing now that he has slown down considerably. (I'm gonna get caught...) He takes a right.... and slams into someone. "Geez!" A woman's voice sounds. "Watch where you're going would ya!" Zaine looks up. "Sorry 'bout--" He realizes who he's talking to. "Alexi!?" She stands looking down at him. "Yeah." She offers him a hand and helps him up. "What the heck is going on Zaine?" "No time to explain. I just got into--" "Some trouble." "...yeah..." |
| The red head cathces up to them then. (S**t! What is she doing here?) Alexi positions herself inbetween Zaine and the red head. "I see you have some bugs following you." At that moment, Cyn catches up. The red head still has not noticed him, though Alexi has. "So he's one of your dogs is he Alexi?" The red head says in a snooty tone. "That he is." Alexi replies inkind. "Why don't you just go crawl back under the rock you came from? We don't need any more insects in this city." "That really means somethng coming from you." She snaps. "The only reason you've made it this far is thanks to the lives you sacrificed for your own gain." Alexi chuckles darkly. "What's done is done Cassidy." "You're just like you're father; a liar, cheater, and a whore, with not one bit of honor in you." "At least I got to where I am by my own means, and not relying on my daddy's money to boost me up the social ladder." Alexi gasps. "Oh! That's right! I forgot. You're daddy cut you off didn't he? And now you've been reduced to nothing but a mere pickpocket. That's a real shame. But hey, at least if you ever really needed the money, you couldd use that body of yours to--" Cassidy makes to shoot Alexi, but Cyn grabs her arm from behind. "I don't think so." He twists her hand until she drops it and forces her to step back. "Now run along before you hurt yourself little girl." He waves at her cheerfully as she stroms off. |
| Brink shows up in his car. Abbot gets out of the car and opens his door. Brink gets out and Abbot walks behind. (BRINK IS EVERYWHERE! :p) "Well done Captain. I can take it from here. We need to bring Zaine in for some questioning. After all that's what he is here for. And I don't believe you will be trusting your..." Brink looks disgustingly at Cyn. "Lackey." He smirks. "Abbot!" He calls for his assistant. "Y-Yes sir?" "Please escort Zaine to the vehicle." "Yes sir, right away sir!" Abbot hurries over to Zaine. "Please follow me, Sir." |
| Zaine shakes his head. "I'm not going with you." Alexi looks to Cyn for a moment, deciding something. Cyn inwardly cowers in fear. (Dear god what is she thinking?) She turns to Zaine. "You're wounded." Zaine looks at his shoulder, then to his leg. "Yeah." Alexi takes out her gun (which looks like an old fashioned movie projector) ad changes the 'films'. She holds it to his shoulder, and turns the crank. A green light comes from the gun, encasing the wound in its glow. In a few seconds, the bullet is removed and the wound is nothing more than a pink circle. She does the same to his leg. "I thought that was a gun meant for harming people." Zaine says a bit confused. "It can heal," She says as she switches 'films' again. "As well as hurt." She holds the gun up to Cyn now, who has stopped paying attention. A single red flash emits from the gun, hitting Cyn square in the chest. The impact send him backwards against the wall. "I told you to watch him Cyn. Next time, you'd better do it right." A short and pain-filled 'Yes Ma'am' is heard from the rubble. |
| Brink looks at Zaine. "You agreed to come here and we can't afford you being a nuisance. Come now." He looks rather angry and tired from working. Abbot pats his head with a cool cloth. "There you go sir." Brink nods to thank him. "Well then..?" he looks to Zaine. Galacta-Hut Kyle is in a back room watching a holographic stripper take her clothes off and rub chicken wings all over her body. "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! GALACTA-HUT B**CHES!!!!" |
| Lyle sits at the bar, drinking and eating pizza while enjoying the many sights that Galacta-Hut has to offer. "Ah. THIS is the life!" He says as he falls backwards out of his chair and hits the floor with a thud. --- Zaine takes a step back from them all. "I know I agreed to come here. I wanted to come. I won't be a nuisance, I promise. It's just..." He looks over his shoulder at the towering buildings, then down to his pendant. Alexi puts a hand on his shoulder. "I know this is probably a bit overwhelming for you." She says gently. "So, I'll come with you." Cyn glares at Zaine, who doesn't seem to notice. |
| Brink walks over to the closer. "By the way Cyn, we arrested the boy who crashed into the Aurora. I just received a message that he is coming through, shall we pay a visit before we question Zaine so you may compare insurance...and whatever you citizens do?" He gets in the car. "ABBOT!." Jackson jumps and turns quickly towards the car. "Y,YES SIR!!!" He hurries along to the car. ^___^' |
| At the mention of his ship, Cyn perks up. "I wanna meet the punk who thought crashing into my ship!" He says angrily. Alexi just rolls her eyes and gets in the car. Zaine follows her, but Cyn makes a point to get into the car after Alexi, so he gets in last. |
| Hospital Wing Sounds of doctors, nurses, and phones can be heard. The "gang" gets to room 271 where the "punk" resides. Brink opens the door. "This way." He holds the door so they may go inside. The room is medium sized room and white with a hospital capsule (bed). There are a few chairs and a few machines around the room. |
| Zaine looks around, curious as to what each piece of equipment does, but wary of being too close to any of them for fear they may break. Alexi stands back by the door, anxious to be out of the hospital. Cyn walks straight over to the capsule and looks at the man inside, deciding something. |
| Brink opens the capsule slowly. The man opens his eyes slowly from his sleep and looks up at Cyn confused. "Uhm,..." |
| Cyn looks down at the man. "You crashed into my ship." He says, barely disguising his anger. Alexi shifts position, uncomfortable. She crosses her arms and leans against the wall looking up at the ceiling, eyes closed. |
| "...Ugh" He holds his head. "Is that what happened?" he sits up very slowly. "I was being attacked and...I don't remember." He sighs aggravated. |
| "Attacked, huh?" Cyn says, obviously doubtful. "By what?" Alexi shifts again, this time straightening and turning herself so that she is leaning on her right side. Zaine's looking out the window now, watching the people below. |
| "H-Hey I don't want any trouble." He puts his hands up defensively. "I don't remember who it was. Honest!" Brink has already left the room to do other things. However, Abbot remains to assist them. He is standing quietly in a corner of the room. |
| "Right." Cyn says. "Because why would you remember anyone or anything that attacks you." He shakes his head, disappointed. "Well, it doesn't really make a difference to me either way. But I am still a little peeved that you hit my ship" |
| "I-I can pay you back I promise! I know I am not the richest girl in the galaxy! However, I can do whatever you want! I will become a door mat. Like him." She points to Abbot. Abbot sighs and hangs his head sadly. "I have never been to whatever planet this is. So give me a couple weeks but I promise I will do ANYTHING to help pay for the damages!" |
| Cyn stares at her. "You're a...chick?" He's stunned for a moment. "Ah. Forgive me. At first glance I thought you were..." He chuckles to himself. "Well, that changes things a bit then doesn't it?" Alexi looks to Cyn. "I can't stand in here any longer," she says, her voice a bit frantic. "I'll be outside." Cyn nods to her, then returns his attention back to the girl. "Forget about it. You don't need to pay me back." |
| The womans face appears angry. "Why you don't think a FEMALE can pay for a ship she destroyed? Hu!? You don't think a FEMALE can even pilot a ship?! WELL I WILL TELL YOU WHAT A**HOLE I MAY HAVE A UTERUS BUT I AM DAMN SURE I CAN MANEUVER A F*CKING SHIP!" She stops yelling and then realizes she is standing and looking up at him with clenched fists. |
| Cyn holds up both his hands defensively. "Hey now! I didn't mean anything by it!" He lowers his hands. "Besides, I never said anything like that in the first place. Women can be just as capable as men when it comes to piloting an ship." (LOL. NO.) "And I also never said that you couldn't pay for it. You probably could. If there had been any damage to my ship, I'd make you, but there wasn't any. Calm down." Zaine is over by Abbot chuckling to himself. (He sure has a way with women doesn't he?) |
