Chifusa and Kyoka finally have their fight.

Lots of action but eventually Chifusa disarms Kyoka but saves her when she's about to fall into the flames surrounding them.

A lot of dialogue (e.g. talking about happier times in the past) and it seems there's peace between them.

I think the evil "breast chi" from before that consumed the noble woman tries to then consume Chifusa; looking for a new host after the noble woman's body turned to ashes.

(I'd guess Kyoka's blade is special from her research to bring it out on who she strikes)

However Kyoka then diverts the evil chi (or whatever it is) to her own breasts, saving Chifusa.

Kyoka seems determined to atone for her sins and wants to wait for her death and asks Chifusa to leave and save herself.
