Favorite Anime character and why?????

OK i guess ill start hmmmmm.... its a tough choice between Edward Elric (FMA) or Sebastian (Black Butler) but i guess ill go with Edward. He is an interesting protagonist often being underestimated for his height, his short temper also makes him a memorable character. Under all of that he is a good person who comes to terms with the evil alchemy can be used for............. *pause for dramatic effect*
ok i would like to hear about everyone else's favorite characters :D

My favorite character is definitely Happy from Fairy Tail~~~ hehehe. What more could you want? He's a flying cat, (exceed...whatever) and he always claims that characters liiiiikeee one another. Happy can make me smile with his silly antics and can make me tear up (A LITTLE) with how loving he is towards Natsu and the gang.

Lolol....in all seriousness, I have WAY too many favorite anime characters. My friend got me a Happy plushie soooo he was pretty much the first one that came to mind..(since the plushie is sitting right next to me...) I can't wait to hear what characters other people like. :D

@Fullmetal1313...I will judge your favorite characters once I actually get to watch those animes :P

my favorite character is Alucard for hellsing cause he is a vampire and he goes beast mode when he gets seirous and i like how he taunts his opponents.

I have a pretty hard time identifying favorites with things but just one character that comes to my mind is Athrun Zala from Gundam Seed. I don't know if any of you guys have seen that anime but I like how he starts as a villian and then his relationship with the main character progresses and he becomes a good guy. Not to mention Gundams are just badass in general.

LOL i agree with the last part Gundam Seed is another series i was thinking about watching. DAMN IT! i can't decide what to watch next (T_T)

Gundam Seed sounds like it would be a good animeeeee. Blaaaahhhh I knew I should of never joined this website. There's so many animes I want to see now.

I'll have to look into hellsing tooooo. I've heard of it but I don't really know too much about it.

Gundam is a bit of a time commitment, at 50 episodes for each sub-series type thing. I tend to avoid watching anime thats over like 25 episode cause it's hard for me to finish. Although I did just start watching Gintama which is 200 episodes ;-;

i usually watch short series two i find if the series isnt good enough i cant commit

p.s. thats why i still havent finished Bleach lmao XD

Oh my goshhhh. What's the chances....I just started Gintama too hahaha. I'm only at like episode 3 and I think I'm going to put it on hold to finish Code Geass and then to start watching FMA. :P

I love love LOVE long animes :P Sooooo Gundam won't be a problem. I am thrilled when animes are over 25 episodes~ I can watch anime all day without stopping. Of course I never have that much free time but I COULD do it. You guys are so weirddddd.~

lololol. yeah, that gosh darn social life gets in the way ALL THE TIME. lol gosh darn laziness, tries to invade all aspects of life. I definitely have my moments where I feel too lazy to watch anime which is really really REALLY sad...considering all it is, is me sitting and staring at a screen. Apparently you can be too lazy to do that. :P

Seriously though, if something in the real world pisses me off, I always seem to end up watching anime and get so caught up in the story line that I forget about the problems in my life. Of course then there's always the moment when I get out of my anime trance and remember what was going on in the real world. :P

And I liked Kamisa from Tengen Toppa..
Lucy from Elfen Lied..

I think it would be much easier to post an anime and then ask for the favorite character of that anime. Haha deciding is too rough.

Nino from Arakawa Under the Bridge: I really like her stoic characteristic and blunt ways also she's an expert fisherwoman. Her mysterious vibe just really drew me in.
Celty from Durarara: She's one of those characters where you eventually sympathize with her the more you're introduced to her and she's just badass. Headless shadow that rides on a motorcycle.

Minakami, Mario from Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin: Because he is more realistic than the average cliché main. He's quite a depressing character but he has an uplifting personality that makes up for everything else.
Kou, Reishin from Saiunkoku Monogatari: Just a really cool and funny Uncle that has way too many secrets to unfold.

My favorite anime character would have to be Konata from Lucky Star.

i say someone like alucard can be the best but not in hellsing but in hellsing ultimate ova !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(hellsing isnt a good anime)
or leluche from code geass(but not that much cus somethimes hes a dick and somethimes he becomes sofft ---
SO my final desision is Yomotsu Hirasaka---Twelfth from mirai nikki
you have got to see him (i gues everyone who has watched the anime woud agree hes the best) he has got all the good things(suiside,madnes,kamikadze,funy,and all in 1 episode>>what more coud you ask :)

Roy Mustang from the FMA franchise or Light Yagami from Death Note
Mustang because he's a sarcastic womanizing bad-ass but is someone who looks towards a bright future and fights for the ones he loves
Light because even though the death note turned him into a giant prick he was still a fascinating intelligent and all around cool character and it was hard to disagree with his methods when it was turning the world into a more peaceful place

2nd Konata izumi favorite moe character very cute stubborn and almost like me plays alot of games and anime :3
3rd Haruhi suzumiya very cute funny and sometimes kinda goes irratating but still my fav char

I really would love to answer this, but at the same time, I feel like I have already answered this post T.T haha. Anime just is a limitless amount of amazingness. I always find myself loving a character and adding it to my favorites almost every anime I watch >.<

Basically anyone whose a hot female, is ridicously crazy, and knows how to get things done. My examples: Gasai Yuno, Saeko Busujima, Senjougahara Hitagi. Unnnf. I love my babies<3

I would have to say either Roy mustang(full metal) or loyd(code geass)..... I think i would have to say loyd he is just so laid back and funny and he just gave code geass the special touch of the crazy scientist who just makes fun of almost all situations but is serious when need be. He deffinatly has to be my favorite.

My favorite character would have to be Luffy from One Piece. He is just probably the best Shounen main character, the most reliable, and has the best personality. He never backs down and when he says that he's going to do something he does it. Everybody in his crew has deep respect for him even though he acts stupid all the time.
