| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- 1. I stand in awe of Captain America. A bulldozer with a divan on it and a driver on a leash? Come on! That SLR McLaren might have been more expensive and it definitely goes faster, but you need a road to drive on. With the divan-dozer you make your own roads. Take that, anatomy-compensating sports car drivers! 2. Imagine what a fun couple Kenshiro and Yuria would be to hang out with. A woman who is ill and doesn't have long to live and a man who never smiles, or actually shows any emotion besides anger. (Granted, he cried when some guys died in the first series, but I still believe that something got in his eyes.) They'd be the hit of any party. There are some good things about those guys too... well, obviously you don't have to worry about villains raiding your place... or forgetting the firecrackers for new year's eve. Ken can just make some heads explode. Good times! |

| It seems convenient that none of these Gento Kouken fighters were around in the first series...oh well new, stronger enemies just pop up one after another in Hokuto no Ken I guess. |

| Trying to work this Gento business into the system of fantasy martial arts used in the first series doesn't make a lot of sense. Wasn't it that Hokuto the north and Nanto south, Hokuto the one and Nanto the many? So what's Gento? I honestly would have preferred they just not bother to explain it and just run with there being guys with crazy powers. Since Fist of the Fist Fist is such a sausage party, it's interesting to see Lynn presented as the true leader of the Hokuto Army. It makes sense with what we saw in the first series; she always had more conviction and "heart" than Bart did. |

Yeah well, but i guess they had to invent such martial arts based on stars thing again because them having such crazy powers with no star martial art based will make it seem like there was no reason for all the great fighters to have such a thing in the first season ether. I mean if anyone can have super strong aura powers then what was the need for all the martial art star based powers in the first season? Anyway, at least this means Ken will have enemies because until a few episodes ago i was wondering if this Tentai people will all be fodder. Especially looking at that silly dar scared general they had shown i thought they wouldn't even put a fight. Thankfully they have some badasses for Kenshiro to get heat up fighting against. Btw i thought the gold guy was gonna be like the last dude since this people are so obsessed with light and his obviously the most bright one so i am supriced his already getting set-up for confrontation with Ken. |

| It's pretty sad how Kenshiro did all that fighting in HnK 1 to save everyone but he couldn't save Yuria from dying to her illness. |

| If only Toki was still alive he could have saved Yuria and heal her. Batt and Lynn are in a bad shape, I hope Ken will save them. Good episode. |
