| Remember that feux-anime series? I love it. It got me into comics in the first place. Without it I would be a completely different person than I am today. From the series I segued into comics. Speaking of which, does anyone read the GO! comics? I do/used to, but they've stopped the series. DC doesn't really like the new look they gave to the Titans, apparently. :/ ANYHOO, I was just wondering if anyone watch/knew of the series and would like to discuss. You know, like favorite episode, favorite moment, favorite character, or least of any. ^^ |
| Yeah sure, I loved Teen Titans until the last season or so when they brought in the evil brain robot thing and the strechy woman. Besides that though, I loved it. Character development that good is something not generally shown on Cartoon Network. (And I really mean that.) Probably my favorite episodes were the ones that dealt with Raven's past or the one when Robin gets dragged to prom by the Mothman's daughter, that was one funny episode. I also liked the one in which Robin is hallucinating about Slade. (Total badass, best enemy from any Cartoon Network series.) |

| Yeah, season 5 was a total bust. :/ But it was worth having to deal with 'The Brain' to see the episode 'Lightspeed'. -is such a girl- Slade was so badass. Even if they did change him a hell of a lot from the comics, they kept him great. Robin and Raven based episodes were wonderful! Starfire is so amazing and badass in the comics (She /nearly/ takes down Brainiac, Brainiac 8, Lex Luthor and Superboy down while the JL, TT, and Outsiders run for cover!) but they ruined her in the show. D= I'm still upset over that. I loved 'The Quest' episode, where Robin goes off for training, and all the Titans put on his clothes and used his gear. xDD And, of course, The Terror of Trigon arc was wicked. -is a total rae/rob shipper- My favorite character is Red X, though. The first episode where Robin makes the suit in the first place, that was so good, and then when it gets stolen. And where Red X makes ballin' cameo apperances, always mega-awesome. Any theories as to Red X really is? I was /betting/ on Rose Wilson, Ravager, Slade's daughter diguised as a guy, but in GO! comic series they brought her in later (and rather stupidly...>>). |
| Yeah I had almost forgotten about Red X. Totally uber-badass. I was always pissed off about how they cancelled the series before they ever truly revealed him. But I really don't have any theories on who he is ... well, not anymore. I used to have one that I remember was pretty good but I haven't seen it in so long so I can't really remember. *SIGH* I also liked all the episodes with the rock girl, Terra wasn't it? When she first appeared and then got basically blackmailed into becoming Slade's slave. Really awesome storytelling and character development. At the end of that story arc I had manly tears trailing down my cheeks. |

| Red X was the only thing I liked from Teen Titans. There were some theories that he was Jason Todd, the second Robin. |

| TERRA. ARGH. I hated her with a passion more than I hated Starfire. When she first went to Slade she wasn't blackmailed, an then back to the Titans, then back to Slade, then to the Titans. MAKE UP YOUR MIND GIRL. >> I couldn't even predict what was going to happen because the series was so different than The Judas Contract arc in the comics. ...But yet, I still cried when she died. They were tears for Beast Boy. But that final eppie, 'Things Change'? SHE'S BACK! D= That was a sad final note for the series. Ah, yes, the Jason Todd theory. :/ Never liked Jason Todd (who really did, at least pre-death?). I still wish it was Rose, although I'm glad it wasn't revealed, either. Gives Red X even more mystery. Oooh. ~ |
| Wait... isn't Robin Dick Grayson in Teen Titans? Remember that time Starfire went to the future on accident and saw that the team split up. Robin, who went solo like everyone else, became Nightwing, who was Dick Grayson in Batman. |

| They never actually decided in the series, since it was for kids and they weren't gonna bother with secret identities anyway. :/ But they pretty much hinted everything to Richard, from Nosyarg Kcid (Dick Grayson backwards, the little blob dude/chibi thing) to the Starfire/Robin relationship, to, well, just about everything. xDD But in the GO! comics they finally just confirmed him as Dick. |
