| Ellooo everyone! We've been noticing so much hate for a lot of anime (psst i lied, i only saw hate for school days) well state your opinion for an anime that gets too much hatred. Imo MAL users tend to rate Pokemon 5, but why? I mean... it's Pokemon... it's epic stuff... it's epic... it's the shit.... |

I think so too...but I think a lot of people hate it because of the fillers. But I actually like some of the fillers. I watch them after the filler arc is over so I tend to not hate it as much as the people who just want the real story to continue. I get bothered by the tons of flashbacks too. A lot of the flashbacks are very touching or just nice to watch, but the anime tends to show the same ones over and over again... He reminds me of Lelouch. Haha, it's okay that you hate it, I mean a lot of people do. The main character's name Shu ^^ I think that is one big reason why people dislike GC, because of Shu. I can see why people think he's annoying, but I personally love the anime because of him. He changes a lot in the second part of GC though. But then again, people still hate him after that. I thought he had great character development though, he goes through a lot of internal conflicts and makes mistakes. Here's a quote from Inori that sums up my thoughts on Shu: Inori bothered me too for the first part of GC, and it does seem like she's just there for fanservice. But I ended up really liking her as well. Even if the rest of the cast didn't really get much character development, Shu and Inori did. I laughed when you mentioned Amnesia though. I hate Heroine. She definitely can't do shit and has little reaction to things. Inori can be badass though, she can shoot people :P and Gai tends to be liked by everyone :) I've only watched I think 3 episodes of Code Geass, so I'm not really sure about Lelouch, but I think Shu turns more like Lelouch in the second part than Gai was. |

| Well. I suppose I should also have here my opinion, specifically on Accel World. http://myanimelist.net/anime/11759/Accel_World And I think the main focus of hate is... the main character? You see, I was kind of happy when they brought to us a round, chubby and with a huge sense of inferiority main character. It is much better than those heroes or clumsy ones that we see just about everywhere... it's... a change of pace. It shows that a character does live, he has situations to get trough and how he evolves. Haruyuki Arita cries a lot, runs away from everything and curls up whenever he feels threatened. With time, he learns to stand up and socialize more. That is waht a evolving character should be like. |

I looked at your list and saw that you haven't watched Guilty Crown yet, but the funny thing is, a lot of people complain about the main character in Guilty Crown and Accel World, both which are voiced by the same VA, Yuki Kaji. Both characters are also weak in the beginning, but get a lot of character development. I know on MAL it's not ranked as highly as Brotherhood, but it's still pretty decent compared to other anime's rankings.
