| Aki rubbed the back of her head and laughed nervously. "I'm not really sure. I just walked into this town when it started to rain. This is the first place I found so I came in and got me a room." |

| "I'm here to find a cure for my fiancé's illness. He was dying when I left..." |
| Aki looks down at the floor. "I'm sorry to hear that Maggie. I hope you find one for him." She then looked up at Trent. |

| "It seems people get hurt wherever I go." Maggie said sadly. |
| Aki looks at Maggie. "What do you mean?" |
|
| "I keep trying to get away from it but no matter where I go someone gets hurt." |
| "Well, I'm not sure if these are the words I'm looking for or not, but maybe running away is not the best solution. If you run then you'll never be able to protect those truly prescious to you." |

| "I-I'm not running. I'm looking...for a way to help him." Maggie replied. "I would never run." |
| Aki looks at Maggie. "I know, you don't seem like the person that wouldn't run from those you care about. Also I never said you, yourself were running." |

| "Then...what did you mean?" |
| Maggie jumped in surprise. "Were you...listening?" |
| "That's...I mean, that's so indecent!" Maggie exclaimed, chucking a pillow at his face. |
| Maggie blushed. "I'm sorry, I just..." |
| "It's not nice to eavesdrop that's all!" Maggie exclaimed, blushing and fiddling with her eyepatch nervously. |
| Aki looks at Trent. "Are you feeling any better?" |

| Maggie blushed but said nothing. |
| "Oh, a-am I?" |
| "What? That is ridiculous!" Said Maggie. "I have my fiance back home! That's why I'm here!" |
| 'Unbelievable.' She thought. 'How could he even think that?' |
| "Yes, that was smart." Said Maggie, back to her usual demeanour. "Would you like some help?" |
| Magie stood up and helped Trent to his feet. "Maybe you should rest longer." |
| [Er, okay. Why?] |
| "Well I'm sure Aki can get you something." Said Maggie. "I'm going to go back to my room now, but I hope you feel better." |
| Kenta walked into the inn after recently completing a contract. His shotgun was slung over his shoulder, and he blew out a puff of smoke from his mouth due to the cigarette he was smoking. He sat down at the bar and leaned his gun against his stool. "I'll have a bear." He said in a blank tone as the bartender nodded and gave him his order. Kenta then took a calm swig of it. |

| "I'm sure you'll be fine." Maggie said, heading out of the room and back downstairs, realizing that she left her bag back at the bar. She saw it near the stool where Kenta was sitting. "Excuse me," she said, "can you pass me that bag over there?" |
| Kenta looked to the side with a blank expression. "Ah, sure." He said reaching over and grabbing her bag before passing it to her. "There ya' go miss." He looked at her eye patch a bit. "You lost your eye?" He asked bluntly and with seemingly childlike curiosity. |

| "Uh...yes." Said Maggie, wondering if he had any concept how rude that sounded but she didn't say anything about it. |
| "I see." Kenta said blankly. "Sorry if that was rude, just don't see that many people like me, who lost their eye." He said blowing out a puff of smoke again. |

| "I suppose some people are just clumsy." She said. "Um, thank you for my bag...uh...sorry, what is your name?" |
| "I guess so." He responded, partly talking about himself. "Kenta. Yours?" |
|
| "Margaret, but you can call me Maggie." |
| "Well, nice to meet you Maggie." Kenta said blowing out another puff of smoke. "So you traveling or what?" |
|
| "Yes." Maggie confirmed, deciding she would sit down. "I'm...looking for something." |
| "Hm... Well, I hope you find whatever it is you're looking for." Kenta told her. |

| "Thank you. I'm sure I will...one day." She said with a slightly wistful expression. |
