| Both were amazing, but I prefer the second season. Reasons: I lovde the violin and the theme songs, I loved Yuu and Yuuko, and I loved how everything was tied up. One of the very few series in which the second season is better than the first. |

| I was so going to say both, but I voted for the 2nd. The first season is the original one and I was really going to cry. That was one impressive anime, which really did touch me and I was so happy when I heard there will be season 2, because I totally loved the first one. My expectations for the second season were not that high, but I actually liked it better. I couldn't stand the weakness of Chihiro, but I enjoyed (yeah) Kuze's one (it's kind of wierd). And it was so impressive how strog a little girl like Mizuki can be. The second season actually tells a lot about the first one and Yuuko's appearance (that's what I was curious about). |

| On Season #2: I Didnt Really Accept Mikizuki being with Kure. I dont know just them not being the same age & happening so fast. Troubled Me. But then I Accepted it. But What I really liked was the Story of Yuuko & Yuu-Kun Oh & I Cried More in this one then the 1st Season. But Damn both of them Make My Heart Ache.. It Hurts & its Painful.. On Season #1: I Really Loved the Main Couple of the Anime Chihiro & Renji-Kun I Also Love the Couple Hiro & Miyako. But I was kinda Troubled with Kei also Loving Hiro. but in the End I liked the way it Ended. And Anyways they're Cuter together. And I thought there was 1 thing I didnt Like about it but I think I forgot I think I would choose 1st Season. but for some reason I Voted Cant Decide xD |

| The second one, by far. Both are wonderful and Ef in general must be one of my top series of all time, but season 2 was more intense, even bizarre at times. I was glad Yuu and Kuze received more focus and cleared some things up. The whole violin thing is also beautiful, and the way they presented Yuu's past... Yeah. season 2 actually made me release a couple of manly tears. Season 1 did too, but Season 2 was way more powerful and interesting to watch. |
