Report #20202 Halloin

Halloin is a planet mainly made up of water. Inhabited by human-like aliens.

Over millions of years ago, Two gods Ea and Ulei fought. Ea, a pure goddess, spreading healing water to her followers. Ulei, a blackened, impure, super power that despised Ea. He despised her beauty, her intelligence, and he wanted to be her. However he could not, for she wanted to lead her people with kindness. So after Ea refused to bow to him, Ulei took over the planet killing millions by tainting Ea's waters. Ea became weak and the Saiin or priestess at the time had the remaining Halloins get together. By using their special powers, they put Ea in a protective world where she could gain her strength. Many years later she became strong and created a hurling typhoon to destroy Ulei. However, Ea became weak again and even now the planet fights to keep her alive for if she dies, they die.

Government
Halloin Government is based on religion.
Here is the order from top to bottom:

Ea:
Ea is the ultimate government. She is the one who decides important
planetary decisions. She is the law and order of all Halloin.

Kings/Răspunde:
Kings are both men and women which connect you to Ea.
Much like a priest, they are messengers. Unless you are a Saiin,
you can not seek the goddess without the king's services. There
is a king that rules every city in order to keep close contact to Ea.

Exekvera:
The Exekvera are the servants of Ea that execute her decisions,
punishments, praise, and other planetary duties. There are 2 levels.

-Saiin
The Saiin is the highest of the Exkvera. Their duty is to be the goddess's right
hand assistant. They are the main executors and some even are higher up than kings. Every Saiin is different. Only one Saiin may be. Every 200 years a new Saiin is chosen by the goddess. They must be, spiritual, loving, and strong. Saiins must also be the planet's protector. When their job in finished, they are to become a husk or surrogate for the goddess, when she emerges from her temple.

-Taiin
The Taiin are basically Ea's staff. Especially chosen by the goddess,
they execute small decisions and every day changes. There are 17.
They are not used as hosts for Ea, however, they do maintain her
life force and protect her from harm.

People & Customs
People:
The people of Halloin are very giving, helpful, and generous.
However, like any planet, there are a few bad seeds.

Most Halloin people have dark skin and hair and their eyes are shades of neon.
They also have 2 gifts bestowed upon them from the goddess one called a modis and the other called sculptural intaglio.
A modis is a "bindi-like" attachment that lays on their forehead. For the most
part, they are just pretty to look at, however, for a Saiin it changes colors which determine their mood.
The sculptural intaglio is a power all Halloins have that allows them to create small planets in the palm of their hand. Some can even be the size of a basketball depending on how strong the individual is. However, to create a full sized planet, there must be many strong Halloins there to help create and maintain the world. This power can be used also to create elements of planets such as water, ice, earth, air, and fire. This power is the same that helped protect Ea during the Wrath of Ulei. By using their sculptural intaglio, they can create a whole galaxy.

Trade:
Most Halloin people are merchants. This is because people that work with the government or the Temple of Ea are chosen for their positions. Merchant jobs include: fishing, clothing, tools, accessories, and food services.

Customs:
Halloins have very few customs outside of religion. However, there is one in particular that stands out. Halloins know nothing of indecent exposure. People walk around naked all the time and no one judges or thinks it's inappropriate. The Halloin people are natural nudists. Besides that, they visit the Temple of Ea, 5 times a day to drink from her pure waters. Her waters, act like medicine to the people of Halloin and have literally saved people from infection, illness, and death.

Report #46200 Phanaphos

The fourth planet away from its mother star, Isidium, Phanaphos is an underdeveloped planet and is thus protected by the Underdeveloped Planet Protection Pact. Interference with the advancement of Phanaphos by an out-worlder with advanced technology can result in years of imprisonment. As is necessary when discovering a new planet, people have been sent down to fully investigate the progress of Phanaphos. Here is what was in their report:

There are three continents on Phanaphos, along with several small island chains. Though each continent could be inhabited, only one is: Escrom. The people of Phanaphos are content with their way of life currently and have yet to seek the other two continents or any of the neighboring island chains.
Though the islands have their own distinct government and culture, they pale in comparison to the size and growth (really lack their of) on Escrom. Escrom is divided by two larger powers: The Kingdom of Isty and the Republic of Yasty.
Isty is a small country which makes up the southwesterly edge of the continent. Being by the sea has provided the Kingdom of Isty with several ports to fish and, if they ever became interested in exploration, trade with the islands. The land is immensely fertile in the kingdom, yielding a surplus of crops each year. Many people in Isty take up a life of farming or fishing. As a result of centuries of this, the people from the Kingdom of Isty have acquired tan colored skin and darker hair color from being outside most of their lives. However, the people in the kingdom are set in their old traditions, leaving much room for technological improvement.
Yasty is the larger of the two countries, located in the mountains on the eastern side of Escrom. The Republic of Yasty is walled off from the sea by the mountains in which it calls home. The mountainous terrain of the country provide little for crops when farming, and as a result the people have been forced to find other means to produce food through hunting or livestock. Top-class hunters often make more money than they know what to do with. Given the rich veins of metals, minerals, and gemstones within the mountains, miners, forgers of weapons/armor, jewelers, and many other similar crafts are all commonplace in Yasty. After centuries of mining and crafting, the people here can be identified easily. Generally people from the Republic tend to be muscular from mining, good with their hands, have paler skin and lighter colored hair from being underground or in buildings all the time, and know quite a bit about animals and tracking them from hunting for their meals.

Assessment:
Being the larger power and more advanced than its smaller brother, Isty, Yasty is currently trying to take the land Isty holds in its kingdom to meet the needs of its people's food consumption. Many people in Yasty have died due to starvation. The only thing that has been stopping the Republic of Yasty from conquering the Kingdom of Isty is the land in between. Separating the two forces is a vast desert (which is closer to the mountains) and a thick forest (which is closer to the plains). Crossing the desert has been problematic for Yasty’s forces and many have perished while attempting to do so. The forest, on the other hand, is equally as dangerous. It is infested with feral animals and many have gotten lost while within.
Given the planet's rich supply of raw materials and atmosphere, it is recommended to keep watch for the opportunity to colonize or trade. A slight push to advance the peoples may be necessary to achieve this, as neither country is ready for space travel as of the present.

End report.
