| "Oh it's talking.." Alan asks. "Spiced ramuen, two waters, and...?" The lady crow asks. Jackson sits down. "Tea for me." "Ginger Seishin." Brink says, sitting next to Alexi. |
| Zaine sits next to Jackson, Alan next to him. "This is a lot different than the restaurants back home." "Oh yeah?" Alexi asks. "How so?" "It's just different. I don't think I could explain it right." "Ooookay then..." (I'm going to need a lot of alcohol...) |
| "Very well, please take your time ordering." The lady crow looks at Zaine and Alan strangely and flies away. (Ugh, I came here to relax, not hear the history of what's different here. That bird better hurry.) Brink sighs. |
| Zaine watches the crow fly away, then starts looking around bored. (Yup. This place is definitely different than before. Wait before when? I've never been here.) "Great, you two upset her," Alexi says. "There goes our good service." She sighs. (Not going to let that stop me from drinking.) |
| "S-Sorry!" Alan says, empathetic. Jackson looks threw the menu. "Can I try your ramuen when it gets here?" Brink asks Alexi. |
| "Don't apologize Alan," Zaine says. "It's not that big a deal." Alexi chuckles. "If you really want to. It's rather strong though. You sure you can handle it mister lightweight?" |
| "Okay." Alan says. "Isn't the point of drinking, to get drunk?" Brink smirks, getting closer to her. |
| Zaine traces some pattern on the counter that only he sees idly. "You could saw that," Alexi smiles crookedly. "But you're not going to last long on that stuff." (Wonder if he's a good kind of drunk...) |
| Alan looks around, studying the scene. "Don't worry, I'll be fine." Brink chuckles. The lady crow comes back and takes their orders and leaves again. |
| "Well she's talkative," Zaine says. "If you say so," Alexi offers Brink her glass. "Don't blame me when you regret it later. Thing's got quite a bite to it." |
| "I guess we really offended her." Alan says nervously. Brink takes a sip. "Not too bad." He says as he takes a sip of his. |
| Zaine shrugs. "Well, I'm pretty ignorant of most things outside the place I grew up so I guess it's to be expected." "Best thing I know," Alexi takes a long drink from the glass before setting it down, half empty. "You come here often when you're home, Jackson?" |
| Alan holds her tummy and sips her water. "I suppose you're right." Jackson shakes his head. "My family is big on home-made meals." |
| "Though I do still feel bad when I do things like this," Zaine says. "Ah, that's nice," Alexi nods. "Haven't had one of those in a long time. Who cooks for your family? That must be one heck of a job to feed everyone." |
| "It's not your fault." Alan assures him. "We all cook really, but my mother is the main cook." Jackson explains. |
| "No it is my fault," Zaine shakes his head. "If I had known beforehand, it wouldn't happen." (That's true for so many things...) "Ah, I feel bad for her," Alexi finishing off her glass. "Cooking for that many is rough. Cooking for my own crew alone was a pain, but that many people would kill me." |
| Alan kisses his cheek. "Shush." "We help out, don't get me wrong." Jackson says with a chuckle. |
| Zaine smiles at her. "Sorry, I'm being negative. Forget what I said." "As you should!" Alexi exclaims. "There's nothing sadder than a child who doesn't help their mother." |
| The food arrives along with some refills. Alan smiles. "It's ok, love." Brink chuckles. "I suppose you're right." Jackon nods. "I agree, captain." |
| Alexi thanks the crow for bringing the food and refills before starting to eat. Zaine enjoys his food and eats quickly, a habit he's had forever. He finishes before the rest of them then returns to observing the restaurant. "This is pretty good," Alexi says drinking some more. "Glad I ordered this and not the other stuff. Hey how's your food Brink?" |
| Brink wipes his face and looks at her. "Pretty good." Alan lays her head on the table top, full. |
| Alexi giggles. "Idiot," she mutters. She finishes her second glass, wishing there was more. "Was your food good, Alan?" Zaine asks her. |

| "Can I buy you another?" Brink asks, flirtatiously. Alan nods. |
| "Buying the lady a drink?" Alexi leans into Brink seductively and whispers, "Only if you can afford to keep them coming stud." "Good," Zaine says. "Hey Jackson, this planet has been around since before Kavarda exploded right?" |
| "Oh they will continue to come, my dear." Brink whispers back. "You're correct." Jackson answers. |
| "Hm hm," Alexi giggles and pats his knee. "Good man." She waits for the crow to come back and orders more ramuen, five more. "And the people here live for a really long time right?" Zaine asks. |
| Brink smirks and finished off his 3rd drink. "It depends on their species." Jackson explains. "For me, I'm a phoenix, so we live pretty long." |
| Alexi happily finishes off two more ramuen before leaning back in her seat. "Ah, wonderful." She stares dreamily up at the ceiling, a fourth drink in her hand. "So then," Zaine thinks. "Does that mean that someone here was alive when the planet died?" |
| Brink whispers "You my dear, are crazy." He chuckles. "Maybe, I mean, it's possible. We were farther away then. Our planet originally broke from it's orbit and ended up her only a bit after the destruction. However, we were in the same vicinity." Jackson takes a sip of tea. |
| Alexi laughs. "We're all crazy, Brink. Every single one of them." She slams down the rest of her fourth and starts on her fifth and last ramuen. "But what do you know about that eh? You're too studly for that." She pokes him in the chest. "I see..." Zaine thinks for a moment. "Then, is there anyone here who was alive before it died?" |
| "Too studly to be crazy? Haha, if you say so." Brink says with a slur in his words. "I'm not sure." Jackson shrugs. |
| "Ah!" Alexi leans over again, hand on his shoulder. "You're drunk aren't you?" She whispers. "Oh well," Zaine says. "Never mind then. I'm not sure I'd want to meet anyone that old. Their memory would probably be terrible by now anyway." (I not really one to talk though...) |
| "N-No, you are!" Brink comments. "Oh...Yeah, I suppose." Jackson nods in understanding. |
| Alexi laughs. "Nuh uh stud. When I finish this last glass I will be, but right now I'm not." Zaine crosses his arms, thinking. |
| Brink smirks and tips the glass slightly. "Oh?" Alan looks up. "If only you could remember." |
| "Hey, don't tip that," Alexi protests. "Some knight you are. Stealing away the princess's happiness..." "I'm honestly not sure if I want to remember," Zaine says. "Whatever happened isn't good, but at the same time there have to have been pleasant memories too right?" He shakes his head. "That's why I want to go see some artifacts from the old days." |
| Brink pauses for a moment, then decides to play along. "I was just speeding up the process." He teases. "We will, don't worry." Alan places her hand on his. |
| "Yeah yeah," Alexi chugs the rest of her glass. "You can't fool me stud, I know what game you're playing." "But should I really go?" Zaine asks, holding her hand in his. "Am I supposed to remember or is it supposed to be like this?" |
| "Nah, I respect you too much." Brink smiles innocently. "What matters, is if your happy with not knowing. If you're really that curious, and you go, just remember that the past is the past." Alan smiles. "There is no time like now." |
| "Yeah sure," Alexi crosses her arms. "But that doesn't change the game, just the player." "I want to know," Zaine says. "But at the same time what if I'm better off not knowing? I wish there was someone who knew that could give the answer." |
| "Y-Yeah, okay. I like games." Brink nods in false understanding. "Me too. I wish you could get rid of the void." Alan nuzzles his neck. |
| "Thought so," Alexi nods. She leans into Brink again, gazing into his eyes. "So stud," she whispers. "Does that mean you'd do anything for me? Even if it was ridiculous, stupid, dangerous, or extreme?" Zaine fluffs Alan's hair and smiles. "Thanks Alan. But the only way to know for sure would be to remember. Even if it's painful." |
| "Sure." Brink smirks, holding her chin close to him. "I believe in you, moon of my life." Alan smiles happily. |
| "Even if it went against how you feel?" Alexi asks. Her chest presses up against his. "Even then would you do it?" "Thank you, Alan," Zaine says. |
| "Depends, though I love you enough." Brink explains. "Of course." Alan says |
| Alexi chuckles and sits back. "That's fine then." She turns to the others. "If we're done here let's head out. I'm bored of this place!" "Well alright then," Zaine says. (She's totally wasted...) |
| Jackson pays the tab and they leave. |
| "Where are we going now?" Zaine asks. "The museum right?" Alexi says, a bit tipsy. "You wanted to go. Unless Jackson would rather go elsewhere." |
| Jackson shrugs "I don't mind at all." |
| "Perfect!" Alexi exclaims. "To the museum!" "Can we go in a museum with two drunks?" Zaine whispers to Jackson. |
