I just played Osu! 5 days ago, and i've been addicted to the Osu!mania mode, can someone give me help and tips for hard mode and above with 7k mods...i've been having problems with holding down spacebar and hitting other notes while doing it, and do you guys have any maps recommended for practicing 7k hard mode...?

Oh gawd. Heres what I suggest to learn more than 4k on hard
So choose any easy/normal map, and change it to 7k. And as you're coordination gets better, you can then try hard mode. And if it's still to hard use Halftime with the 7k mod. Im not a osu Mania player, but hope it works out x)

Practice makes perfect, you should try doing normals on 7K first, then once you're used to the normals go ahead and try some 'easy' hards.

Already did it, got some A and S rank on some normal maps on 7k, it's just that i'm having problems on hard because most of the map had the hold spacebar and pushing other buttons while at it, do you have any examples on the 'easy' hard map...?cause the best i get from a hard map is B, and that is playing a relatively slow song ( Aoi Eir - Memoria )

Learn how too change speed of the scroll for certain songs.
Like for me if the map has a BPM of 120-150 I play on a 12
For 150-200 a 10 etc.
Also just play more 7K hard song then you will get use too it ^^

Only just saw this thread. You're going to have to just get used to holding one thing while pressing another - that shows up all the time. I could direct you to things that don't have any if you want, but I don't see the point as you're going to have to learn it anyway, whether you play autoconverts or mania-specific songs - both have that sort of thing.
There is no such thing as shit taste. Only idiots who think everyone should have the same taste as they do.

The only way around it is to practise it.
"Urushibara Ruka. The mannerisms and voice of a woman... No... More feminine than any woman. But he's a guy. Taller than Mayuri, but so very thin... But he's a guy. Looks great in a miko outfit... But he's a guy. It's already twilight And yet, it's so hot. The cicadas are crying. But... He's a guy."

Hey someone bumped this so one general tip for mania I'll throw out is, get used to faster songs and become comfortable with changing the mania speeds to one general speed. I see a lot of people failing really fast and really slow songs because they haven't mastered changing the mania speeds haha. It's often not so much the patterns that are hard, but the speed you are playing it at

Just memorize the keys. Looking at the keyboard is a no-no.
Looking at the keys at all will screw everything up no-matter the gameplay type :p

the best way i play is not to think

the moment i got in my head "wait, is it me typing all this??" and then i start to fail

i think i play osu with my Subconscious because when im playing, i dont really look at what im typeing or directly at the notes

if you play enugh time it will be a reflax like i devlaped it to be
i got no gif for my signature..... imagine some cool swords clashing and light and fighting everywhere!

Yes , true but if you do it wrong then practising is pointless.
