| It was an early morning for Team 8, as Shiori announced jut the night prior that they had a mission to do out in the forest...but she never said which forest, only to meet at the usual spot. Shiori and Hana were there first, looking over maps and planning for the rough trip ahead. |

| Hige comes crashing into the room, dodging and blocking hits from a 2 ft tall toad, calling Hige a "no-good moron" and punching him. "Kaze, relax! is this coz I picked Suika, instead of you" He says in an apologetic tone. But he is quickly silenced with a punch to the face followed by a "BAKAAAAA!!" the toad vanishes in a puff of smoke. |
| They were lively as always, it seemed...but where was the quiet one? Ahh. Here she is. Yukikaze enters the room wearing what appeared to be a winter-themed kimono. Shiori wasted no time addressing them. "You may recall that I have mentioned a mission I had for us for the past few days now, but I never told you what it was. Now that we are all here, I will remedy this. It's nothing fancy, but we're going on a 'witch hunt.'" Shiori used air quotes to emphasize the apparent ridiculosity of the idea. "Some people are getting worried about a section of forest lately, saying it's too quiet, and there are reports of children walking into it at night, thus the claims that there's a witch living there. We are to investigate the authenticity of these claims and nothing more." Hana clears her throat. "Don't forget..." "Yes yes. I was getting to that." Shiori interrupts, "Now then...you might be wondering where we're going. The answer is simple...the infamous Forest of Death." Yukikaze visibly frowns ever so slightly. |

| Hige giggles whilst holding his face "this all seems legit" He stretches, sighs and thentakes a deep breath... "DEATH FOREST HERE WE COME!" In excited of travelling to a place with a 'cool' name and with his new team no less. He yells and cheers "will we get some training time before we go?" |
| Yukikaze had a really bad feeling about this, but she wasn't one to rely on her instinct, so she kept silent for the whole trip. And thus, the team set out for the Forest of Death, coming upon one of its 44 gates. Oddly, like the mouth of a beast awaiting its prey, the gate was wide open. Even if there wasn't a 'witch', something was amiss. Shiori warns everyone to be careful as she walked in first. |
