Must be the only anime to feature Pakistani Muslims (sunni by the looks of it).

Nice tension and drama, I liked it.

I dont like the main bad guy's cartoonish behaviour, they really messed that one aspect up, he just belongs in a different anime.

I cant imagine how painful it must be to lay on a sun-heated rock for hours, then stabbing yourself in the arm? ouch.

First negotiation was pretty badass, just like Yugo himself.

Holy shiet, that was pretty intense. I liked how they decided to torture him slowly by burning him under the sun as opposed to something generic like cutting him or something like that. If the other negotiations are this intense then i'm looking forward to the progression of this series.

This was the best episode so far. Yugo digs deep to convince them he is protected by Allah. I believe this is the first anime that quotes the Koran. Although I'm an infidel from the US I'm not offended lol. I thought it was intersting how he drew strength from its words. He was also over heard reciting from it. This puts a scare into the soldiers. They begin to question if he is under protection from Allah. Did Yugo intend for this to happen or was it part of his plan to make them believe he is a hero? He did know the passages he was reciting. I think he was surrendering to Allah due to the advice he received earlier so he could endure the pain. The soldiers overhearing him was a side benefit. Perhaps it was the will of Allah.

Cool episode, the torture mettod they used was pretty unique, I liked it.
And I think that Yugo is forcing himself into pain and all, so he could negotiate with Ali, the Allah thing was just so the soldiers were afraid of killing him.
btw

Wow, that's what I call an unconventional way to deal with things, by anime standards. But given the circumstances it was really clever and took a lot of guts.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron
