Honestly, that doesn't surprise me by her nature. I wonder what else is going on in her mind right now. On the other hand, it seems like Inari has conflicted feelings about becoming a God. |

So I was in Kyoto for half a day two weeks ago and I got to visit the shrine at the heart of this series, Fushimi Inari taisha... and it is absolutely swarming with tourists lol. It is gorgeous though, the senbon torii are even better in real life than in the anime/manga (but more crowded). If/when I go back to Kyoto I'm definitely gonna visit again.  Re current chapter: it would be such a bittersweet end if only one of Inari and Uka got to be human. This isn't the kind of manga that ends bittersweet, though, it's gonna be happy for both of them, I'm pretty sure. We'll see how it's resolved in the chapters to come. |
