| why are people so obsessed with Vegeta being the main guy this time around and not Goku? so basically they want Freeza to kick Goku's ass and Vegeta taking the spotlight and finishing Freeza? I wouldnt want a dragon ball movie like that since Dragon ball's protagonist will always be Goku, making Goku lose in the possible last movie Toriyama may ever make seems unfair for the guy that was literally the core of dragon ball series. |

It's called over-saturation. Just because Goku has been the main focus of the series for so long doesn't mean it has to remain that way. In fact that's all the more reason a change of focus would be appreciated. Gohan was meant to take over the reigns as the main character in the Buu saga but Akira ended up caving into fans like you who couldn't even give another character the chance to take Goku's spot. Besides Vegeta has gotten the short end of the stick for most of the series. Even his own son managed to obtain SS3 through fusion. Power isn't everything but Akira did a poor job of making Vegeta keep up with Goku and Gohan. I don't care too much what happens in this movie though because the first BOG was pretty terrible so my standards for the sequel aren't very high. And why exactly would dragon ball need a different character to take the spot as the main guy? I wouldnt mind Gohan Im not that much of a Goku fan, hell I always loved Gohan more than Goku but Toriyama fcked up Gohan as time went by, his mystic form was said to be stronger than Goku at ssj3 and yet he gets 1 kicked by beerus at BOG and thats it? instead of Vegeta who for some reason people are so obsessed with I'd rather want Gohan to take his father's spot but like I said Goku was the core of dragon ball series it all started with him and bulma, people like u just got fed up and want something different. imo thats what makes Vegeta lovable by some fans, he doesnt have a ssj3 and yet he can still keep up with the other villains and even Goku at ssj3, movies has always shown that Vegeta can kick villains that Goku ssj3 had a hard time with, like Janemba and herudagarn where Vegeta can even react to them and yet Goku ssj3 was toyed by janemba and goku ssj2 couldnt even land a hit on herudagarn even with Beerus Vegeta took the spotlight, what he did was more memorable than the Goku vs Beerus was. I dont see any more reason to give him a main role part. |

He needs his Vengeance I can stand it happening, but at the price of Goku getting rekt? hell no. besides I think now I know how the movie's gonna end up, Goku and Vegeta gets whooped = proof of this is the earth exploding, Vegeta and Goku aint that stupid to launch an attack that can destroy earth so it has to be Freeza, Goku and Vegeta dies then Whis time travels back in time to prevent the Freeza from destroying earth and whoops his ass. Tho yes this is all just my theory since Vegeta at the trailer was also surprised as hell, but as Vegeta's voice actor said Vegeta will have his revenge this time. |
