| Sano is one of those people, eh? Lol. Okay episode, nothing really exciting. I'm still waiting for Yahiko to actually take charge and kick some serious ass, either that or at least have somebody get killed! But that's not the point I guess. |

| Good, I wasn't the only one who noticed the animation looked off. :P Not necessarily bad, just different... In the beginning, when they were fighting Yahiko was actually the mature one taking charge, lol. He's sure changed a bit... But seriously LOL at Sano's superstition of the train and stuff, strange to see the strong guy so scared. XD Really, Sano? The rest was a bit meh, but it was fine I'm not too picky. As long as there aren't Sumo wrestlers. DX XD Oh, that picture was BEAUTIFUL. XD Sano looked so scared and awkward in it. |
| Sooooo... From your opinion, was the locomotive moving because of vapor or a tanuki. I'm still not sure about that, they never answered it. Haha, from all thing, I didn't expected Sanosuke fear to be technology. Poor him, he's gonna see it more and more as the years will advance. It was a pretty fun episode. Sure, it was a filler, but it was an enjoyable filler. It cracked me up when Kenshin arrived on a horse from nowhere. Where did he get that damn horse?! |

| Pretty good episode, even though it was another side story! But well I quite liked it, let's see what's next. |

| This was a cool little adventure in some parts that provides historical context/more info about the setting. There were a lot of goofy lines and just weird dialogue though, and the characters looked and moved pretty strangely at times. Kenshin riding in on a horse was also pretty weird. Sano's fears were pretty funny. |
| Had a feeling this is is a filler episode judging from the art and animation being... off. Not a bad episode, though. Didn't expect to see Kenshin on a horse. |

| I loved that episode ! The beginning explaining the story, and the ending ! wow... Just Kenchin coming with a Horse ... like wtf .. That was pretty unreal but ok. It's funny to see how people reacted back then, new machines etc. I guess, it's the "same" nowadays with Crypto, A.I ... etc |

| Sano the musclehead can't fathom new technologies like the locomotive and photography, Kaoru who's excited to try western fashion and foods in Yokohama can't quite explain them to Sano but she shows herself to be the more rational one. The train thieves plans are first interrupted by Yahiko and then Kenshin. With a gun to Yahiko's head, Kenshin fails to stop the thieves without drawing his sword. Unable to stop the train, the thieves try to detach the car with the gold however Yahiko has informed Kaoru and Sanosuke in time (I thought his days as a street fighter were over after losing to Kenshin but he carries a chain around lol). With the train on the sea route, pirates set up a barricade and the train engineers have no choice but to stop. Kenshin catches up on horseback to defeat the pirate and use his Hiten Mitsurugi Ryū to slice the barricade. Sano is still superstitious after arriving in Yokohama but they get the group photo Kaoru wanted eventually with Sano awkwardly standing stiff. While I appreciate the fact this filler gives Kaoru more scenes swordfighting, there's a lot of exaggerated perspective on the faces in certain shots with significant shifts in character design. |
