| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- In this chapter we get to know some things about the past of the story (which I suppose happened before the events in Abara). 2171: a mass union ship of gaunas was discovered 2371: the ship threw 46 gaunas onto the earth, the Earth split in two 2384: Sidonia sets sail 2691: last communication with another human ship 3394: current era So the team is finally done and their internal fights must be over. I guess Midorikawa likes Nagate, she wanted to be alone with him but it turned out bad for her plans haha. Well the growing relationship between Nagate and Hoshijiro was obvious. |

| Nice (and very informative) background chapter. So the Earth was destroyed by Gauna, eh? Now I understand why they hate it so much. And Sidonia cruising space for 1000 years is also something. Promotion came fast enough. I guess those jobs are not for very long. Though Nagate seems to be special. Special and engineered clone I guess? And it seems like En is tsundere :D But Midorikawa wants Nagate too, I liked her introduction. It was great how Izana and Midorikawa were in no luck though :)) Hoshijiro is lovely, I liked their time together. |
