Hi, I've been playing osu for about two months now, but I play really often. My index and middle finger hurt when I move them, this is definitely an osu related injury but has anyone experienced this before, and does anyone know a way of treating the injury before it gets worse.

Take a break, there isn't any treatment other than that.

You've probably played maps above your limit (or just did lots of stamina requiring maps) and didn't let them rest, thus why they hurt.
Fingers need time to develop, so I suggest 2-3 days break, after that you'll have more stamina and be able to tap better. (probably)

Yeah, almost every osu! player had such problems in their life, you have to take a break and don't overstrain your wrist for a couple of days. So, if it got better once, you'll almost certainly not face this problem again.
Also, if the problem is about your fingertips, you better pay attention to how hard you press on the keyboard, some of the cheaper models require really much pressure, that's not good for playing osu!
