| Here I am with another animator spotlight! I'm pretty sure you guys are familiar with animator Toshio Ishizaki or otherwise known by his pen name, Sushio. He's a freelancer who is strongly associated with GAINAX's Imaishi and Yoshinari and Toei's Mamoru Hosoda. [b]Sushio's style is something you've probably seen in some shows. His style has the fluid motion of Yoh Yoshinari and the wack, pose-heaviness of Hiroyuki Imaishi. His effects in his scenes bares influence from Hisashi Mori.[b] **And as an easter egg, he often includes rabbits in his works, which fans give him the nickname, "Sushio Bunny".** Check out some of the scenes he animated below! |
