| I just know Irimi didn't just die for a old ass lady. I feel for Touka. She really want to help out. She just doesnt want to keep owing the things that are important to her. Irimi and Koma are really something else. Kind of wish that we knew more about them before all this broke out. Fighting and dying to atone for your sins. Those two and the manger are something else. |

| ...damn... dem feels for Kaya and Koma. Wanting consolation and receiving it by death...damn Even after becoming more "human" Touka is still Touka, she still wanted to fight, good going Yomo, that would have definitely been suicidal. It's a total war over there! "We can only live while we lose"-Yomo. Kaya saving some random old lady...why? And Touka dissing on Koma's bow tie, I'm still mad it was excluded from the anime. |

| I'm gonna have to third the "it's hard to understand what's happening" comment. The mangaka's skill at drawing action has improved somewhat, but this war has so much going on that his weakness in this area is showing again. The drama with Touka felt forced to me, also, TBH. |

| Despite leaving their murderous pasts behind and having a true change of heart thanks to the Manager, Koma and Irimi felt that they didn't get what they deserved right until this point. Their final stand for the sake of their friends in Anteiku is the ultimate act of the three's atonement. Having to leave everyone she loves and losing those she cared about once again proved to be too much for Touka. Continuing to lose something means that you're still living but Anteiku taught her to strive until she finally achieves something. Irimi taking a hit for that damn old lady because of Vash having the nerve to intently take a human life as collateral proves that some Ghouls are definitely more human than some humans themselves. |
