Don't waste your time on kiddies, they grow out of it. I promise.

Now let's go watch some Aria and leave this thread.

Why are you still posting, honestly. Your inability to focus on one topic is astounding. If you can't contribute, don't bother posting. It's really simple actually. Thanks.
Well, it seems to me that the topic at hand is how immature you are. So Im still on topic lad.

I'm sorry, but the level of irony of your post is quite hilarious.

And a mature person keeps replying back with the same stuff?

LOL

lol this guy I know says the exact same thing. Looks like we might as well edit the entire ranking system just for you people. 5 is average, 7 is good. It's even clearly labeled when you rate an anime.
7/10 is 7/10. I'm don't give a shit what MAL labels the score. Anime scores are a cumulative average of the scores of all members anyways, and the average score of basically every anime happens to be somewhere around a 7. Even mars of destruction, the lowest scoring anime, pulled off a 3.

"LemonLyme's scores average about 0.55 points lower than the average scores posted by other members."

You'll find your tastes change as you get older.

Wow, all your anime's are either 8's or 9's. Your inability to pick out flaws and isolate positive aspects of an anime is really poor.
Wow.

Everything you do is law, huh? Everyone should be like you. If they aren't, they suck. Okay, I've got it now.

Question.. Why do you care so much if other's like Aria?

And guess what? I watch anime i like (OMG), hence the high scores.

I'm sorry, I don't have dyslexia, where did I say this?

In contrast, I actually acknowledged people who said they liked the anime, and simply asked why you liked it. And yet you claim I hate them? Read between the lines.

I call bullshit again! Here's your OP

I just finish the first episode, scanned through the rest. I don't think I've ever wanted to drop a show this badly in my life before. Honestly, this show is just so terrible beyond description. I had somewhat high expectations considering it's ranked 8th; obviously, I was horribly deceived by the ratings.

They do nothing all Anime except talk to the dumb cat and bake cakes...

How is this ranked #8 again?

The only thing that could even come close to being that question is your last sentence, and that could hardly be considered a serious question.

At first I found it somewhat too idiotic to respond to.
You see, I watch anime for their artistic merit (not always, if you would go over my list, but it is certainly my general intention) and the deeper, inherent meaning an author is trying to bring across to the viewer.

Aria has such deeper meaning, and for anyone that would give it time (which you obviously don't want to give to it, although I doubt you'd understand it in the first place), it will give that satisfaction. I find it very interesting, how certain people can pick up the smallest pleasures, and turn it into life lessons, which is why I rated Aria a 10, one of two anime which I think deserved it.

Yeah I noticed it was the 3rd after I saw epi 1. But being the 3rd season, that gives it even more reason to push me right into the action and really get me into the anime. Which it hasn't. Which is why I'm wondering why people are so into the anime, and rank it #8? Unfortunately flamers and spammers started butting it, aka the very first post, "you have no taste."

Obviously, the OP saw this show ranked so highly and decided to post this just to piss some people off. But, i'll say this: Aria has some of the best character development in anime. So, I can most assuredly tell you that the op has no god damn idea what he is talking about.

Also, Code Geass has tons of flaws. It rely's so much on plot twists that it sacrifices it's story at some points. Not, to mention that most characters are hardly developed at all.

Good job missing my point, again. Here's a hint (if there's no suspense or action in the final section of the story, normally the climax, then it's a logical assumption for the rest of the story to be dull). Ah, good ol' grade 9 english class.

Yes, they are.

So are Orchestra concerts, Post-modern music, Philosophy, and intelligent literature (No, not Twilight) and also intelligent anime. I don't care what others think of my interests, and I don't care for the interests of others, everyone has their own taste. However, I do care when someone attacks something, without even understanding it.

I can be perfectly fine with someone not liking Aria, which is to be respected, as long as they understand that it's more than what you see on the surface. If you don't understand something, there should be no reason for you to judge it, hence my original post.

Someone said because they like anime without suspense or action. And I said, that's the same as real life.
You live on an extraterrestrial planet? And this planet has a man made biosphere? And there are people that even manually control the weather? And little flying motorbikes to deliver your post? You can inadvertantly find yourself time-travelling from time to time? You're an undine?

No shit bro.Exactly like real life.
Gone silent to this i see.

What is there to argue about? He just further proves my point, I thought a monkey could see that, guess not.

I'll give you a hint (historical note):

Back in the great depression, people would watch movies rather than feed themselves because it created hope and excitement in their life, and made them forget about the hardships.

Do you get it now?

Yeah I noticed it was the 3rd after I saw epi 1. But being the 3rd season, that gives it even more reason to push me right into the action and really get me into the anime. Which it hasn't. Which is why I'm wondering why people are so into the anime, and rank it #8? Unfortunately flamers and spammers started butting it, aka the very first post, "you have no taste."
Oh no! There is no action by the third season, so this show must be horrible. If you didn't notice, one of the genre's is "slice of life." Another tag is "comedy."
But dude, Code Geass should have been tagged Comedy.

Sounds like a museum is perfect for you then. ;)

Art, deeper meanings, etc.

I think museums are awesome, no lie.

Good job missing my point, again. Here's a hint (if there's no suspense or action in the final section of the story, normally the climax, then it's a logical assumption for the rest of the story to be dull). Ah, good ol' grade 9 english class.
I found the ending of Geass s2 to be extremely dry, and the first season to be much more enjoyable. Oh wait, that's not possible according to what you said.

Sure, if that's your opinion. It's the complete opposite for me. Season 1 was a stepping stone which lead to the massive wars and decision-making Lelouch encountered in season 2.

Oh dear, you are actually trying to defend this point?
Fine i will break it down for you, Grade 9 english class is hardly advanced enough for real life, pet.

SO!

Say someone had stacked up a huge line of dominoes, all leading to a dramatic climax where it spelled "I hate Aria" (for instance)
What will you enjoy more?
Watching the first dominoe being tipped and the progression of movement?
Or the last 5 dominoes falling over.

Do you understand this concept?
Maybe they will cover it in Grade 10 english.

Can I get a source on that. I'm gonna need to see a source before I swallow that.
