| I've been trying to watch Darker Than Black, currently 7 episodes in, but I'm having trouble enjoying due to the slow pacing and just overall boring plot as a whole. I was just wondering if I should pushing through it and see if it gets better? Anyone wanna help? |

| As much as I like the meme "Chinese Electric Batman", I found the show to be generally lackluster and an overall letdown. I wouldn't tell you to expect anything. Watch the show if you feel invested, drop it if you're bored with it. |

| Thanks everyone for your help. I'm overall bored with everything in it. The only thing I thought was fantastic was the opening. Howling by Abingdon Boy School is such a fantastic song, stuck in my head for weeks. |

| I'd prob rec watching the first half, then dumping if it still doesn't entertain. The plot is pretty ridiculous, the second half doesn't improve on it, and the second season is a disaster. Kanno's music (hardly her best work) and the female MC detective were the only things really that got me through. |

| Darker Than Black was a fairly big disappointment for me. I heard so many good praises about it that when I got around to watching it I couldn't fathom why people seemed to like it so much. The first season was okay, but the second season was a lot worse. |

| Moved from AD Sad to hear you didn't enjoy it as well as you probably hoped. I don't remember much of it as it's been a while since I've watched it, but I do remember the stories of one-off characters being done fairly well. Oh, and collarbones. |
